Plane geometry drawing is an important part of middle school mathematics. Its reasonable setting in textbooks can improve students' creative thinking and develop their intuitive imagination ability with half the effort. As a powerful country in education,Japan has a deep connection with China in mathematics education exchange, and there are many similarities in basic education between the two countries.Through the comparative analysis of the plane geometry drawing content of the Chinese PEP and the Japanese Qilin edition of middle school mathematics textbooks,it is hoped that it can provide reference for the compilation and teaching of plane geometry drawing in the textbooks.By using the methods of literature research, comparative research, statistical analysis and case analysis, this paper first briefly introduces the history of plane geometry drawing requirements and the functions of plane geometry drawing in Chinese and Japanese middle school textbooks in the past100 years.Secondly,it is from the standard of Chinese middle school mathematics curriculum and the guiding points of Japanese middle school mathematics study(including basic concepts, overall objectives and content standards),the specific content of plane geometry drawing(including arrangement, content setting, knowledge introduction, summary and expansion, examples, exercises and drawing tool selection),and individual cases(including angle bisector drawing and positive integer square root drawing). Finally, the conclusion and enlightenment are drawn.Through comparison, the following conclusions are obtained:(1)In terms of curriculum standards and learning guidance essentials, the basic concepts of curriculum in both countries have the characteristics of the times, and pay attention to the main position of students and the practicality of curriculum content. As for the overall goal,"mathematics curriculum standard for compulsory education(2011 Edition)" and "mathematics curriculum standard for senior high school(2017 Edition)"(hereinafter referred to as "curriculum standard")emphasize "four Basics" and "four Abilities",and "essentials of mathematics learning guidance(2008 Edition)"(hereinafter referred to as "essentials")emphasize mathematics activities; In terms of content standard,"curriculum standard" has a detailed description of plane geometry drawing content in junior high school, and "essentials" has a simple description in junior high school and senior high school.(2)In terms of content, the layout of PEP is simple and clear, while Qilin is detailed and specific;in terms of content setting, the overall number of PEP is more than Qilin, and the number of senior high school Qilin is more than PEP;in terms of knowledge introduction, summary and expansion, the introduction pays attention to diversity, the summary of PEP is more comprehensive and complete than Qilin, and the expansion form of Qilin is more diverse than PEP;In terms of examples, the number of PEP is slightly more than that of Qilin edition, and the comprehensive difficulty of Qilin edition is slightly higher than that of PEP;in terms of exercises,PEP pays attention to hierarchy, and most of the exercises of Qilin edition are equipped with answers at the back of the book, and the number is less than that of PEP,the comprehensive difficulty of exercises is equivalent;in terms of tool selection,PEP has weaker requirements than Qilin edition, and PEP has more modern information technology mapping than Qilin edition.(3)In terms of individual cases,Qilin edition has appeared in both junior and senior high schools, while PEP only appears in junior high schools;Qilin' s plane geometry drawing method is more than PEP' s,and its difficulty is higher than PEP' s.Through the comparison, the following enlightenments are obtained:(1)High school "Curriculum" in the new plane geometry drawing content requirements.(2)Content arrangement reflects the process of knowledge generation.(3)Pay attention to the relationship between the knowledge points of plane geometry drawing, highlight the logic of knowledge.(4)High school textbooks should add some difficult plane geometry drawing content.(5)Strengthen the connection of plane geometry drawing content in junior high school and senior high school.
