Correct understanding of words is the premise for students to read the text and clarify the meaning.If middle school Chinese teachers can explain words in teaching and use them properly,they can help students understand,master and use words.At present,Chinese teachers in junior high schools mostly use courseware to show the meaning of words to explain words,but seldom use the method of explaining words in depth that is in line with the characteristics of words and students' reality.Therefore,on the basis of in-depth analysis of the current situation of teachers' word interpretation and students' word learning,and by connecting with the rules of teachers' word interpretation,this paper summarizes the effective word interpretation methods used by middle school Chinese teachers in the teaching process:description and example interpretation method;Situational context interpretation method;Close sense anti-sense explanation method by example;Morpheme analysis and interpretation;Comparative interpretation method;Glyph analysis and interpretation method;Idiom verification interpretation method;Contextual interpretation method;Similarity structure interpretation.In this study,6 classes of students from two middle schools in Zhangzhou City were selected as the objects of investigation.In view of the current situation of many problems reflected by the survey results,this paper puts forward a feasible method of word interpretation for junior middle school Chinese teachers in teaching,and investigates the application results of the method in the class of the research object,in order to test the effectiveness of the method,and carry out investigation,analysis and summary according to this.Through the research,the conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The effective ways to explain words in the teaching of Chinese teachers in junior middle school include(1)the method of description and example explanation,which firstly describes the meaning of words briefly and then explains with examples in detail(2)Situational context interpretation method,combined with the context to clarify the meaning and then create a situation to illustrate the definition(3)The method of explaining synonyms/antonyms with examples is used to deepen students' understanding of the meaning of words and strengthen them with examples.(4)Morpheme analysis and interpretation method,breaking up words to explain the meaning of the words and combining with the example sentences to explain the words(5)Contrastive interpretation method,to the old with the new will be compared with the two words respectively and then give an example to explain.(6)Analysis and interpretation of glyphs.(7)Idioms prove interpretation(8)Contextual interpretation.(9)Similarity structure interpretation.(2)It is necessary for junior middle school Chinese teachers to adopt effective word interpretation methods when explaining words in class.The author analyzes the results of the application survey and finds that students can also learn to flexibly use the above nine word interpretation methods to explain words under the guidance of teachers,so as to solve the problems in the process of reading and application.
