Explanatory texts have important pedagogical value.Teaching them is one of the basic ways to develop students' language literacy.The scaffolding theory of teaching and learning has been increasingly studied in language subjects and is also inspiring for the current teaching of expository texts.The article takes the explanatory texts for junior school that compiled by ministry as the object of study.Based on the characteristics of explanatory text layout and teaching status.The article discusses the specific application strategies of scaffolding teaching theory in teaching explanatory texts in junior high school in the Ministry of Education,using scaffolding teaching theory as the theoretical support.The article consists of four parts: the introductory part introduces the origin of the study,a review of the study,research methods and research ideas.The second part focuses on the analysis of teaching materials and teaching analysis.The third part discusses the feasibility of the study in terms of the layout characteristics of the explanatory text in junior high school,the basic concepts of the language curriculum standards,the basic learning conditions of junior high school students and the objective needs of teaching explicit texts,then points out the significance of the study to students,teachers and the curriculum.The fourth part is a study of teaching principles and strategies.Based on the principles of subjectivity,predictability,connectivity and laddering,the teaching strategies of understanding the nearest development zone,creating learning situations,building teaching scaffolds,encouraging cooperative inquiry and timely feedback are proposed.
