History course is a basic course for junior high school students,which has the characteristics of humanity,comprehensiveness and ideology.This determines that history curriculum plays an important role in cultivating junior high school students’ thinking ability.Divergent thinking,as a kind of scientific thinking,needs to be trained in junior high school,so that it becomes a necessary basic quality for normal people.But,for a long time,China’s junior high school stage of basic education in the transmission of knowledge at the same time,the cultivation of students’ scientific thinking quality is a lack of enough attention,therefore,in the junior middle school history teaching,the use of problem-based teaching method,the grasp of the scientific problems of design,the appropriate time to ask questions,enlightening guidance,in the process of problem solving and summary of appropriately,It is an important issue worthy of further study to achieve the cultivation of students’ divergent thinking while mastering the historical knowledge.In the learning process of junior high school history course,it is the new curriculum standard issued by the Ministry of Education in 2011 to put forward the new requirements for the teaching methods of junior high school history course to pay attention to the cultivation of students’ problem consciousness and guide them to learn to think.Probe-oriented teaching method is an important way to promote good interaction between teachers and students,is the most frequently used teaching method of history teachers in class,and is an effective way to cultivate the scientific thinking ability of junior high school students.However,there are many problems in the practical application of the teaching method in junior middle school history class.These problems cannot guarantee that junior high school students can acquire rich knowledge in learning,especially the cultivation of scientific thinking ability such as divergent thinking.
