Cultivating students' core quality is one of the important tasks and main targets of basic education reform.The connotation of mathematical literacy includes both the knowledge,ability,and contain the emotion and attitude.The logical reasoning in the classroom "roots" slogan has a long history.The junior school mathematics teachers cultivate students' logical reasoning ability through a method of strategy,some methods are lack of theoretical basis,some methods have stay in mechanical training and ignoring the inner emotional qualities.Because of this,this study takes Guilin Guangxi as an example,to investigate the current situation of junior high school students' logical reasoning ability and mathematical learning attitude in Guilin area,explored the relationship between them and revealed the influence of mathematical learning attitude on logical reasoning ability of junior high school students,and then puts forward suggestions to cultivate junior high school students' logical reasoning ability.In view of the following questions: junior high school students logical reasoning ability and mathematics learning attitude of the status quo? What is the relationship between junior high school students' mathematical learning attitude and logical reasoning ability? What is the influence of junior high school students' mathematical learning attitude on logical reasoning ability? junior high school students' logical reasoning ability test and the mathematical learning attitude scale of junior high school students were used to conduct a questionnaire survey on junior high school students from 2 junior high schools in Guilin.A total of 624 valid questionnaires were collected.SPSS22.0 statistical software was used to process and analyze the valid questionnaire data.Secondly,interviews were conducted with front-line math teachers to further understand the current situation of junior high school students' logical reasoning ability and mathematical learning attitude,to verify the influence of mathematical learning attitude on logical reasoning ability again,and to understand the main difficulties of front-line teachers in cultivating students' logical reasoning ability.Finally,the research conclusions are drawn as follows:(1)The overall logical reasoning ability of junior high school students is above the average level,However,the attention and training intensity of logical reasoning are lower than that of deductive reasoning.Based on demographic characteristics,there are significant differences in junior high school students' logical reasoning ability in grade,nationality and family location,but no significant differences in gender.In junior high school,logical reasoning ability has a critical period of development.From grade seven to grade eight is the rapid development period of junior high school students' logical reasoning ability.(2)Junior high school students have a good attitude towards math learning.Compared with learning strategies,students' learning motivation and learning belief are weak.Based on the research of demographic characteristics,there are significant differences in gender and family location in junior middle school students' math learning attitude,but no significant differences in ethnicity and grade.(3)The logical reasoning ability of junior high school students is significantly positively correlated with mathematical learning attitude,learning motivation,learning belief and learning strategy dimension.(4)Mathematical learning attitude can positively influence logical reasoning ability.The explanatory power of junior high school students' logical reasoning ability is ranked from large to small: learning belief > learning strategy > learning motivation.Among them,internal motivation,self-belief,process belief,knowledge belief,cognitive strategy and metacognitive strategy all significantly influence the logical reasoning ability of junior high school students,while the influence of external motivation is not significant.(5)According to the interview,the poor attitude towards mathematics learning is one of the main reasons that hinders the development of students' logical reasoning ability.In addition,students' weak foundation,lack of imagination and mathematical reasoning ability also cause difficulties in cultivating students' logical reasoning ability.In view of the above conclusions,this study,based on the perspective of mathematical learning attitude,puts forward suggestions to cultivate junior high school students' logical reasoning ability from three aspects of learning belief,learning strategy and learning motivation.
