Since the adoption of the National Education Policy in 1986,India has been committed to the construction of the national education system and has made some achievements.In 2005,in order to better develop basic education,India has issued the National Curriculum Framework(2005)to solve the problems such as the aggravation of learning burden in educational practice and the negative impact of examination and evaluation on students.As a programmatic document for the development of education in India,the National Curriculum Framework(2005)not only conforms to the needs of the Indian society for talent training,but also follows the basic laws of education development.It is of great reference value to make an in-depth analysis of the problems of basic education in India and give the development direction,which will point out the way for the reform of basic education in India.Under the new era,deepening the reform of education system is the direction of the new round of basic education reform in China.Therefore,it is of great significance to introduce India's National Curriculum Framework(2005)and analyze its framework structure and characteristics for China's basic education reform.This paper makes comprehensive use of literature analysis,historical research,text research and comparative research.First of all,this article from the collection India policy of national curriculum framework,using literature analysis method to understand the development of basic education policy in India stage,to grasp the elementary education curriculum reform in India from overall trend,at the same time to collect Indian national curriculum framework(2005)and the original academic experts,scholars of interpretation of the policy,discuss and collecting research of curriculum reform in basic education stage in our country,to understand the status quo of the current basic education curriculum reform in our country.Secondly,starting from the historical background of the development of education in India,this paper analyzes the historical background of the development of education in India after independence through the historical research method,and clarifies the historical motivation and practical needs for the introduction of India's National Curriculum Framework(2005).Then,the text research method is used to make an in-depth analysis of India's National Curriculum Framework(2005),to comb out the framework structure and content of the entire policy,and then to carry out a comprehensive interpretation of the policy text,and summarize its value orientation and characteristics.Finally,through comparative research method,focusing on its derivative projects,this paper analyzes and demonstrates the achievements and existing problems of India's National Curriculum Framework(2005),and demonstrates whether this policy has reference significance for the formulation of the curriculum framework of basic education in China.As one of the countries along the Belt and Road,India has something in common with China in its social development.Therefore,the study of India's National Curriculum Framework(2005)has certain enlightening effect on China's basic education reform,and meanwhile enriches and improves the domestic theoretical research on the policy text of India's basic education reform.The research believes that although there are still some problems in the curriculum reform of basic education in India,such as too large curriculum goals and too many curriculum subjects,the curriculum concept of basic education has enlightenment and reference significance to the formulation and improvement of the national curriculum framework of basic education in China.
