Self-regulated runs through one's whole life,and the cultivation of self-regulated ability needs to be started from childhood.As the psychologist Rogers said,the purpose of education is to train people who can adapt to change and know how to learn.Teaching students to learn is the key of education.Students' self-awareness is highly developed in junior high school.Starting from mathematics,studying the current situation and influencing factors of junior high school students' independent learning can deepen teachers' understanding of junior high school students' learning situation,so as to cultivate junior high school students' independent learning ability in a more targeted way.This study adopts the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey and interview to investigate the status quo and influencing factors of junior high school students' independent learning in D City.The main contents of the study are as follows:669 junior high school students in D city were surveyed through the revised mathematics independent learning status scale and influence factor scale,and then 2junior high school mathematics teachers and 9 students were interviewed.The status and influence factors of junior high school students' mathematics independent learning were obtained from the questionnaire and interview.Finally,based on the results of the survey,the paper puts forward some suggestions on how to cultivate junior middle school students' independent learning ability in mathematics.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)On the whole,the independent learning ability of junior high school students in D City is above the average level.Urban students' mathematical self-regulated ability is stronger than township students,and the difference is great.There are significant differences in the seven dimensions of mathematical self-regulated ability of junior high school students from different student origins.There is no significant difference in mathematics self-regulated ability and seven dimensions among junior middle school students of different ethnic groups.The self-learning ability of female students is significantly better than that of male students,and female students are significantly better than male students in learning time,learning method,learning process,learning result and learning environment.The self-regulated ability and seven dimensions of urban school students are significantly stronger than those of rural school students.From the perspective of grade,the mathematics self-regulated ability of junior middle school students is significantly higher than that of grade 7 and grade 9 in township schools,but there is no significant difference between grade 7 and grade 9,while grade7 in urban schools is significantly higher than that of grade 8.The self-regulated learning ability of the mathematics excellent students is stronger than that of the potential students.(2)Multiple stepwise regression analysis of independent learning and its influencing factors shows that five factors,including goal setting,learning strategy,school environment,self-efficacy and teacher-student relationship,have significant predictive power on independent learning of mathematics.Based on the survey results,four suggestions are put forward to cultivate junior middle school students' independent learning of mathematics :(1)cultivate students' initiative consciousness;(2)Guide students' learning methods;(3)Pay attention to individual differences of students;(4)Create a quality learning environment.
