With the further development of the new curriculum standards,according to the requirements,senior high school mathematics activities should actively advocate independent inquiry and cooperative inquiry and other learning methods.This kind of learning is helpful to improve students' scientific literacy,cultivate students' practical ability,creative ability and cooperative ability,and help students better grasp the subject knowledge of mathematics.This paper selects the content of the chapter of solid geometry in high school,and adopts the cooperative inquiry teaching mode,aiming to study whether this teaching mode is helpful to students' academic performance,learning interest and learning ability.The second is to compare the differences between traditional teaching and cooperative inquiry teaching in teaching results,and then summarize the principles that should be followed by cooperative inquiry teaching mode and the problems that should be paid attention to.This research mainly adopts experimental research method,literature research method and questionnaire method to solve the following two problems.First,combining with the actual situation of the practice school,we construct the cooperative inquiry teaching mode with the characteristics of our school;Under the support of discovery learning theory based on constructivism theory,two classes were selected from a school in NC City,Jiangxi Province,and the cooperative inquiry mode was adopted for teaching in the experimental class,while the traditional mode was adopted for teaching in the control class.The work of experimental research is mainly divided into three parts: The first part is to design an experimental scheme,distribute questionnaires in two classes,and analyze students' learning interest,learning ability,learning motivation and the current learning situation of solid geometry.The first part is to design an experimental scheme,distribute questionnaires in two classes,and analyze students' learning interest,learning ability,learning motivation and the current learning situation of solid geometry.Then select individual students and teachers for interview,so as to supplement the data analysis of the questionnaire;The second part is the experimental research.The experimental class adopts the cooperative inquiry teaching mode,while the control class adopts the traditional teaching mode;In the third part,students in two classes were tested at the same time.After that,questionnaires were issued to students in the experimental class.Finally,all the data were sorted out and statistically analyzed to draw experimental conclusions:1.Cooperative inquiry teaching mode can overcome the teaching problems existing in the traditional teaching mode,and help teachers to teach better and students to learn better.It can not only improve students' interest in learning,cultivate students' sense of cooperation and exploration ability,mobilize students' enthusiasm for learning;It can also help students to construct the spatial concept independently,improve the spatial imagination ability of students,so that students' performance can be further improved;2.According to the characteristics and level of students in a school in NC city,this paper constructs the cooperative inquiry teaching mode,and sums up the principles that should be followed by the cooperative inquiry teaching mode and the problems that should be noticed.Finally,the whole teaching process is reviewed,and two teaching cases,the new lecture and the problem set,are selected for analysis,in the hope of providing reference for more teachers when carrying out teaching research or adopting cooperative inquiry mode in teaching.
