| The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China states that education is the major plan of the country and the Party.What people to cultivate,how to cultivate them,and for whom are the fundamental issues of education.In order to do a better job in talent cultivation in the new era,the document “Modernization of Education in China 2035” issued by the State Council proposes to innovate talent cultivation methods,promote heuristic,exploratory,participatory,and cooperative teaching methods,and cultivate students’ innovative spirit and practical ability.Based on the investigation and research on the current situation of mathematics classroom teaching in senior high schools,this article proposes to adopt a new teaching mode-BOPPPS mode in mathematics classroom teaching.The core of the BOPPPS model is participatory learning.Practical teaching has shown that this model plays an important role in improving students’ participation in the classroom,giving full play to their subjectivity,cultivating students’ cooperation and inquiry abilities,and effectively improving classroom teaching effectiveness.Firstly,through the literature research method,this article combs the application status of the BOPPPS model at home and abroad as well as the research status of the preliminary teaching of high school solid geometry,and finds that studying the preliminary teaching design of high school solid geometry based on the BOPPPS model has certain teaching and practical significance,clarifying the theoretical basis,ideas,methods,and framework of the research.Then,through the questionnaire method and in-depth classroom observation method,we understand the learning situation of students in Huanggang Foreign Language School in the four dimensions of classroom links,teaching effects,classroom atmosphere,and “solid geometry preliminary” knowledge;Through teacher interviews,I have grasped the teacher’s suggestions on the application of the BOPPPS model,as well as the preliminary teaching status and suggestions for solid geometry.Based on the analysis of the results of research and interviews,the feasibility of applying the BOPPPS model to the preliminary teaching of high school solid geometry was verified,and the teaching strategy framework and teaching design process of the BOPPPS model were constructed.Then,based on the BOPPPS model,the preliminary content of high school solid geometry was specifically designed and practiced,and a questionnaire survey was conducted from five dimensions,namely,learning atmosphere,learning objectives,teacher-student status,teacher-student participation,and content mastery,to test the teaching effect.The results of the questionnaire indicate that the teaching based on the BOPPPS model has a stronger classroom learning atmosphere,clearer learning goals,clearer “student centered,teacher led” teacher and student status,higher student participation,better content mastery,and significantly improved teaching effectiveness.At the same time,it can also help teachers improve their teaching design level and teaching skills.Finally,this study is summarized and prospected.The innovation of this research is that it has constructed the teaching strategy framework and teaching design process of BOPPPS model applied to high school mathematics teaching,tested the teaching effect based on BOPPPS model through practical teaching,and filled the research gap of BOPPPS model applied to high school solid geometry preliminary teaching. |
