The advent of the new media era has accelerated the popularization and development of new media such as mobile phones and the Internet,provided platforms for the public to speak freely,and promoted global information exchange and sharing,but it also subverted media traditions,bringing the boundaries of media people,audiences,information,and communication channels.Vagueness,resulting in the lack of ability to discriminate media information.The learning stage of junior high school is a critical period for the development of students' psychological cognition,as well as an important stage for the formation of their outlook on life,values,and world outlook.Therefore,the management of class teachers should make full use of media resources to promote the development and maintenance of media literacy by enhancing students' critical thinking skills.Thinking qualities such as independent judgment,effective analysis,active examination,and truth-seeking.Based on this,this article chooses the head teacher to study the media literacy management of junior high school students with both practical and theoretical significance.This article first investigates the degree of understanding of media literacy between the head teacher of a middle school in Wuhan and the students,analyzes the path and problems that the head teacher trains students in media literacy under the current conditions,and uses critical thinking as the guidance tool for media literacy education.According to the technical requirements of critical thinking,the five directions of clarifying concepts,searching for information,reasonable reasoning,investigating hypotheses,and dialectical deliberation are combined with media materials to form specific educational methods,in order to provide teaching references for the media literacy education of the head teacher,and for the head teacher Provide advice and measures for management work,and provide ideas for school-based curriculum development and construction.Finally,considering the social attributes of junior high school students and the participation of all the people in media literacy education,this article provides feasible strategies for improving the media literacy education of junior high school students under the management of the head teacher from the three levels of the head teacher and the school,with the students,and the society.
