In the context of globalization,China-Africa communication is becoming more and more frequent, and the number of women in Africa is increasing. The cross-cultural adaptation of this group is becoming more and more prominent, but the academic research on the cultural adaptation of this group is relatively insufficient. As an applied subject, social work can contribute to the cross-cultural adaptation of the group. This paper uses the method of participation observation and non-structural interview to collect data.Based on the investigation of the current situation of cross-cultural adaptation of women in Africa, this paper combines a typical cross-cultural adaptation case of women in Africa.Using narrative therapy case service model, case management helps the group of women in cross-cultural adaptation strategies. The study found that in the situation of cross-cultural adaptation,on the one hand, women in Africa face cultural shock and cultural exclusion, shallow contact and deep partition,passer-by experience and other adaptive dilemmas in cross-cultural situations;on the other hand, the group adopts active isolation and isolated negative coping strategies for adaptation dilemma. The negative coping strategies of women across Africa are related to the weak awareness of intercultural adaptation, attitude bias and behavioral discomfort. This paper uses the narrative treatment method of case work to integrate the goal of cross-cultural adaptation consciousness, attitude and behavior into the whole process of intervention, and to carry out service with professional strategy, which can effectively help the group to carry out cross-cultural adaptation.Combined with specific cases, this paper presents the micro-process of strategy intervention, such as externalization of social work application problems, active exploration of unique results and reconstruction of life stories. Finally, this paper believes that the cross-cultural adaptation of African women can not be separated from policy support, and advocated from the policy level.
