Chemistry curriculum standard is the basis of the compilition of chemistry textbooks, teaching practice, evaluation and examination proposition, and is the basis of national management and evaluation of the chemistry curriculum.Curriculum standard is the basis of compilition of chemistry textbooks,so textbooks should be consistent with curriculum standard and fully reflect the requirements of curriculum standard. The study of consistency between curriculum standard and textbooks is beneficial to the revision of curriculum standard and textbooks, and to chemistry educators to refer to curriculum standard and use textbooks. The study selects the 2017 edition of the General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standard(hereinafter referred to as the new curriculum standard)and the 2019 Human Education Edition General High School Chemistry Compulsory Textbook(hereinafter referred to as the new textbook)as the objects of study, and uses the content selection-content organization-Content presentation analysis model to conduct a consistency comparison study. The main contents of the thesis research are: in terms of content selection,a consistency analysis of the breadth, depth, and difficulty of the four thematic content requirements of the new curriculum standard and the corresponding content requirements of the new textbook is conducted, and a qualitative analysis of the reasons for the differences is conducted. In terms of content organization, the differences in content organization between the new textbook and the 2004 Human Education Edition General High School Chemistry Compulsory Textbook(hereafter referred to as the old textbook)were compared to analyze the extent to which the new textbook reflects the requirements of the curriculum standard. In terms of content presentation, statistical analysis was conducted in terms of textbook columns, illustrations, and tables to compare the extent of compliance with the requirements of the curriculum standard. The following conclusions were drawn from the study:(1)The overall extent of consistency between the content selection of the new curriculum standard and the new textbooks is low,and the breadth, depth, and difficulty of the content of the new textbooks are greater than that of the new curriculum standard. The main source of differences is the theme of "Common inorganic substances and their applications" and the theme of "Simple organic compounds and their applications",mainly because of the concise description of the content requirements in the new curriculum standard.(2)The content of the new textbook is organized scientifically and rationally, and is consistent with the requirements of the new curriculum standard, reflecting the structure of chemistry subject knowledge and conforming to the law of students' cognitive development.(3)In terms of content presentation, compared with the old textbook, the new textbook has richer columns, more humanistic illustrations, closer connection with life, less exercises, less burden for students, and higher consistency with the requirements of the new curriculum standard. Finally, the paper makes four suggestions based on the findings of the study:(1)improve the understanding of the curriculum standards;(2)rationalize the depth and breadth of the teaching content;(3)give full play to the role of each section of the teaching materials;(4)appropriately revise and improve the curriculum standards and teaching materials.
