The educational reform is proceeding methodically under the guidance of the new curriculum standard,people pay more and more attention to key competence of physics research.there are forth part included in key competence of physics:physics concept,scientific thought,scientific inquiry,scientific manner and responsibility.our research focus on the scientific inquiry,which mean student should actively take part in the physics experiment to find the problem to solve the problem.scientific inquiry is existing through student study career.scientific inquiry not only is a spirit but also is a way of thinking,a method of research.According to the spirit and rule of international youth physicist's tournament and the characteristic of physics,our research set up physics experiment course basic on student independently inquiry.we set up six experiment in this term.This study uses a variety of research methods,such as questionnaire survey,testing,interview,observation,teaching and so on,to compare the scientific inquiry ability of students.And try to add extra-curricular experimental teaching in high school physics teaching,the purpose is to increase the number of students' experimental practice,deepen students' understanding of the concept of physics,exercise students' scientific thinking,more importantly,improve students' scientific inquiry ability.
