Action Research On Social Work Intervening In Community Building

In recent years,as the governance concept of "small government,big society" has gradually taken root in the hearts of the people,the people have also pursued a higher level of a better life,and gradually formed a soil for participation in "community building" in our country.At the same time,both government departments,ordinary enterprises and the public are eager to have high-quality public welfare projects to choose from,which has very important value and significance for the construction of a harmonious society and the harmonious development of individual personality.This article adopts the method of combining participatory observation method,literature research method,action research method and questionnaire method.Firstly,it defines the research background and research purpose of this public welfare project,and secondly,it comprehensively analyzes the development of social work in our country.The current situation,social work action research related content,and the feasibility and necessity of the combination of the two were analyzed,and it was concluded that the community ecological construction work can be carried out through the development of public welfare projects.Finally,the main body of this article uses the action research model proposed by Gerald Susman(1983)as the main frame of the research,and divides the action research into five links:The first link is the discovery and definition of the problem.Through questionnaire surveys and interviews,it was learned that the residents of L community lacked community participation and lack of community mutual aid network.They urgently need to give full play to their residual enthusiasm in community affairs,but they lack the means and ability of community participation,and their awareness of community public welfare is weak.The second link is to develop an action plan.This article is mainly based on the theory of community building,through the development of T library public welfare mutual aid projects,the development of professional social work activities,the promotion of community participation,and the creation of a community culture.The third link is to develop an action plan.The implementation of the action plan includes three stages-"Book lending and donation mutual aid","Themed English Corner" and "Vacation Reading Group" three interrelated and internally consistent action plans.The overall goal is to provide reading learning for children in the community.The public platform also advocates mutual assistance among residents,leads children to participate in community public welfare affairs,strengthens public welfare awareness,creates a community public welfare environment,and rebuilds social relations and community networks.The fourth link is evaluation and summary.First,analyze the course of action,extract conclusions and provide reference.On the other hand,understand the gains and changes of community residents through questionnaires.The fifth link is reflection and suggestion.Summarize and reflect on the entire action process,find out the problems and shortcomings in the project implementation process,and make suggestions for the next step of the project.
