Income flow includes quantity flow and rank flow.On the one hand, the most frequently used method is the income conversion matrix, which measures the size and direction of income flow of different groups based on non-time dependent and location change measurement index. On the other hand, considering the difference in the degree of matrix grouping and the imfluence of intra-group liquidity on the accurate results, this article starts from different individuals and introduces an income flow index to measure the size and direction of the flow. The Gini regression coefficient is used to measure the income quantity flow, and the latter Gini coefficient and the Gini rank flow index are used to measure the income rank flow. The income conversion matrix and the income flow index are complementary to each other and jointly reflect the income flow situation. In terms of influencing factors, according to the degree of influence of the individual's label on income flow, judge its significance and direction, and make targeted policy recommendations to regulate income flow and promote social equity. This article is mainly based on the China Health and Nutrition Survey(CHNS)from 1989 to 2015.It starts from the two aspects of income quantity flow and income rank flow.It uses income conversion matrix and income flow index to explore the overall and regional characteristics of rural residents in my country.Using the disordered multi-category logistic regression method, from six aspects: family population information, human capital, job characteristics, income initial rank, regional characteristics and physical capital characteristics. The final result shows that:from the perspective of the overall rural areas, income flow decreased. In 2004 and2011,income flow changed significantly. The income flow in the eastern region increased first and then decreased, the income flow in the central region first decreased and then increased, and the western region gradually decreased;the overall income in the central region diverged and the income gap was large. In terms of influencing factors, families with longer average years of education,a higher proportion of professional and technical personnel, and a higher proportion of the labor force, and at the same time purchasing rural medical and social insurance, the more they can promote upward income mobility. Therefore, the government should monitor the income status of residents in time;focus on improving income mobility in the eastern and western regions to avoid class consolidation;narrowing the income gap in the central region;improving the education level of rural laborers, training professional skills, and promoting rural social medical insurance.Make targeted macroeconomic policies suitable for rural development.
