In recent years,with the strategic theme of "adhering to people-oriented and promoting quality education",China has carried out in-depth education and teaching reform.The goal of the new curriculum reform goes beyond the orientation of subject knowledge,so that students can learn to learn and form correct values in the process of mastering basic knowledge and skills.Therefore,how to cultivate students' core literacy has become the core content of quality education and curriculum reform.In the core competencies of geography,the cultivation of comprehensive thinking is very important,because as the basic thinking mode of geography,comprehensive thinking plays a key role in the process of students learning new knowledge,analyzing and solving problems.In the current field of international education,the application and research of advanced learning theory is one of the hot topics in academic circles.Through advanced learning from low to high,students gradually master the subject knowledge and ability,so as to achieve the goal of all-round development.Therefore,when applying the advanced learning theory to the training of high school geography comprehensive thinking,we can analyze the students' learning situation from the cognitive perspective,which provides some reference for students to analyze and explore geographical phenomena from the three dimensions of element synthesis,space-time synthesis and local synthesis.This study uses Piaget's cognitive development theory and other related theories,combined with literature research method,to explore the advanced learning and geographical comprehensive thinking.The results show that most of the research on the combination of advanced learning theory and geography teaching in China is to apply advanced learning theory to promote students' mastery of the core concepts of geography,and that only a few of them study the application of advanced learning theory to the cultivation of students' comprehensive thinking ability.Therefore,in view of this situation,this paper is mainly divided into the following three parts: based on the relevant literature and educational theory,this research puts forward the relevant research problems.Secondly,based on the analysis of relevant literature,this paper investigates the current situation of advanced learning theory in the cultivation of senior high school students' comprehensive thinking ability,and then makes advanced learning hypothesis and constructs comprehensive thinking.Finally,the classroom teaching practice of advanced learning hypothesis based on comprehensive thinking ability is carried out,and the corresponding tests are made to compare the students' learning situation,so as to verify the hypothesis.Through the above research,we can draw four conclusions: first,teachers' understanding of the connotation of "comprehensive thinking" is higher than that of "advanced learning theory",but most teachers hold a positive attitude towards the application of advanced learning theory in senior high school geography classroom teaching.Second,at present,the comprehensive thinking of the freshmen in senior high school is at a low level.Except the reason that the students' basic knowledge is not solid enough to affect the development of their high-level thinking ability,the lack of purpose of teachers' teaching methods is also an important reason.Third,taking the knowledge of "the atmosphere on the earth" as an example,through the thorough examination before learning,it is found that students only understand this part of knowledge on the surface,and they basically can not use the relevant atmospheric principles to explain or solve problems in real life.Most of the students can only make a comprehensive analysis of the two geographical elements.When they analyze the geographical elements,they seldom consider the changes of space-time and local scale.Fourth,the cultivation of comprehensive geographical thinking under the guidance of learning advanced theory has certain research value at present.
