In the era of big data,new requirements are put forward for the ability of future citizens to solve problems with big data.Evaluating the development level of students' algebraic reasoning ability is not only an effective way to promote students to adapt to the development of the future society,but also an important basis to measure whether the students' core accomplishment of mathematics is up to the standard.On the basis of literature research,identify the main research questions are:(1)How to prepare the questionnaire and test paper of the algebraic reasoning ability of the senior high school students?(2)What are the characteristics of the development of students' algebraic reasoning ability?(3)How to promote the development of high school students' algebraic reasoning ability better? Based on mathematical reasoning theory in the domestic and overseas,with reference to the three levels of performance on students' logical reasoning ability of description in the General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards and the existing research,follow the relevant assessment framework,construct the evaluation framework of algebraic reasoning ability of senior high school students.Prepared the questionnaire and test paper based on the constructed evaluation framework.226 senior students from four high-level schools in different regions regions of Tianjin were surveyed,200 valid test were taken back,through the analysis of experimental data by SPSS18.0 software,come to four conclusions:(1)Most of the students are at level one in the ability of algebraic reasoning,but only less than half of the students reached level two in the ability of algebra reasoning;(2)The overall development of analytical reasoning ability of senior one school students is well,students can understand and master the basic ideas and methods of mathematics;(3)The overall development of practical reasoning ability of senior one school students is general,the ability of problem representation and mathematical modeling is lack;(4)The development of creative reasoning ability of senior one school student is poor,the consciousness of solving and reflecting needs to be further improved;(5)There is no significant difference in the ability of algebra reasoning in genders and schools;(6)Students' academic achievement,mathematical learning strategy,problem solving strategy and metacognitive strategy are important to the performance on students' algebraic reasoning ability.Based on the research results and the research conclusions,the following teaching suggestions are proposed:(1)Cultivate students' symbolic awareness and improve their mathematical expression ability;(2)Multiple representation teaching content and guide students to take the initiative to explore;(3)Based on the classroom to carry out research and explore the generation process of theorems;(4)Enrich presentation of teaching materials and create reasoning situations actively;(5)Pay attention to infiltration learning strategies to promote the development of reasoning ability;(6)Improve the relevant evaluation mechanism to make the reasoning ability explicit.
