Logical reasoning ability is one of the key mathematical abilities of students,which includes induction from special to general,analogical reasoning and deductive reasoning from general to special.It is an important task of mathematics teaching to cultivate students' logical reasoning ability.In order to better cultivate junior middle school students' mathematical logical reasoning ability,this study carried out a research on the status quo and influencing factors of ninth grade students' mathematical logical reasoning ability.The object of this study is 234 students in Grade 9 of a middle school in Lanzhou.Through literature analysis,test paper method,questionnaire survey method and interview method,the data analysis software SPSS is used to sort out and analyze the test paper data,and the following main conclusions are drawn:The current situation of mathematical logic reasoning ability of Grade 9 students:On the whole,the mathematical logic reasoning ability of Grade 9 students is at the middle level.From the perspective of dimensions,the ability of inductive reasoning and analogical reasoning is not good,but the ability of deductive reasoning is strong.From the perspective of gender difference,there is no significant difference in students' logical reasoning ability between male and female.Male and female students have significant difference in the dimension of analogy reasoning.Male students have good analogy reasoning ability,but there is no significant difference between inductive reasoning and deductive reasoning.In the field of structure dimension and the dimension of the two ways,analogical reasoning,inductive reasoning and deductive reasoning exist significant difference and correlation between the two,in number and algebra,graphics and geometry,probability and statistics both two have significant differences,and the highest score in the field of probability and statistics,the graphics and geometric scores times,the lowest number and algebra.And there is a correlation.The factors that affect the mathematical logical reasoning ability of Grade 9students are student factors and teacher factors.Interest in mathematics learning;Mathematics learning habits;Understanding and mastering of mathematical concepts,theorems,algorithms,etc.The teacher factors include: the teacher's understanding of mathematical logic reasoning ability;The teaching methods of teachers;The teaching level of the teachers.According to the factors that affect the mathematical logical reasoning ability of Grade 9 students,this paper puts forward suggestions from two aspects of students and teachers.Suggestions for students are as follows: strengthening the cognition of mathematical logical reasoning ability;Strengthen the understanding of mathematical concepts and theorems by drawing concept maps and other methods;Change mathematics study habit and way of thinking.Suggestions for teachers: To improve teachers' mathematical literacy and deepen their understanding of logical reasoning ability;Guide students to experience the process of logical reasoning;Pay attention to train students' reasonable reasoning ability and deductive reasoning ability.
