As the offspring of migrant workers,left behind children in rural areas have many problems in life,learning,interpersonal communication,psychology and so on.The problem of left behind children has become a common concern of the whole society.People's attention to the left behind children mainly focuses on the left behind children's life difficulties,psychological problems and behavior deviation,and relatively less attention is paid to the widespread rural left behind children's family intergenerational education.This paper takes the rural left behind children's intergenerational education family as the main body to study the support role of social work on the rural left behind children's family intergenerational education.This study takes the rural left behind children in s village of Pingliang City as the research object,and takes the social system theory,social support theory and social learning theory as the guidance to carry out the research on the intergenerational education of left behind children.By means of questionnaire,interview and other data collection methods,the author analyzes the problems existing in the process of rural left behind children's intergenerational education and their causes through interviews with parents,left behind children and school teachers.On this basis,the author intervenes in the problem of rural left behind children's intergenerational education through group work to provide social work support for left behind children and their parents.Firstly,based on the analysis of intergenerational education of left behind children in rural areas,the practical work plan is formulated,the selection criteria of group members are determined,and appropriate group members are recruited according to the selection criteria of group members.Group activities were carried out for six times.Through group activities,social work support was provided for left behind children's intergenerational education.Detailed records and reflections were made on each group activity.Through the evaluation of group activities,it is concluded that social work can effectively improve the parenting style and effect of rural left behind children.On the basis of group work and academic reflection,this paper puts forward solutions and approaches to how social work can effectively intervene in rural left behind children's intergenerational education,and how to provide strong professional knowledge for left behind children's intergenerational education.
