With the rapid development of reform and opening-up as well as the urbanization,more and more young people in rural areas have flowed into city to make a life leaving their children alone at home.Thus these children attract much attention of society,and especially their mental health problem.The serious mental problem of left-behind children is a synthetic result of many factors,such as incomplete family structure,shortage of psycho-education at school,improper use of community resource,etc.All these factors may have great impact on children's mental health,such as weak and aloof,pessimistic and gloomy,lack of moral awareness,and so on,which cause children unable to establish the right self-consciousness.In order to improve and better the service for left-behind children system and to refine their life awareness,this paper takes Xingzhong village,Tianquan county,Ya'an,Sichuan province as an example.Through the method of participant observation and interview,on the bases of the curriculum self-consciousness of Rainbow Family life education in Taiwan,the writer manly uses the outlook,skills and methods of social work to carry out the life education at the self-cognition level.At the same time,through case help with children to establish right self-consciousness,to fully understand themselves,accept themselves,protect themselves,win encouragement and confidence.And this paper has four parts.The first part is introduction,mainly talk about the background and significance of the study and briefly express the content,framework and some definitions of core theories and relevant concepts;the second part makes;the third part is the analysis on the present situation of left-behind children of Xingzhong village,and this part is the key point of this paper,it includes analysis on present situation,the necessity of social work's intervention,practice of rendering and conclusion.And practice rendering has four parts including demand analysis of left-behind children,activity planning,process,and typical case as well as reflection.And the fourth part is conclusion and reflection of the study.In the last part,from the view of fit between the social work theory and model and children's life education,the writer discusses about the advantage of social work's intervention into children's life education.Further more,the writer reflects upon the following three aspects: firstly,the function of life education to social work;secondly,the integration of life education and school and social education;thirdly,life education could be expanded in children's social work.This has made a deeply discussion on combination of social work and life education.
