Unit teaching is a teaching method to deepen the reform of Chinese teaching and actively explore the core quality of Chinese subject and adapt to the future development of education as well.The Chinese classroom of unit teaching breaks through the way of imparting knowledge of single text teaching,and what it performs is multi-loop and compound teaching.In the process of unit teaching,teachers learn about the real learning level of students,use for reference from life experience of students,stimulate interest in learning of students,highlight main position of students in learning,and put the educational concept of Taking Students as the Main Subject into practice.Although Chinese experts and scholars have been studying unit teaching for a long time,there are still many problems in unit teaching of Chinese in rural high schools.Through a questionnaire survey of 310 senior high school students and 22 Chinese teachers in XX Middle School of Weiyuan County,the data analysis demonstrates some problems: teachers in rural high schools have a weak consciousness of unit teaching;unit teaching objectives do not meet the requirements of curriculum standards;the integration of teaching resources in and out of class is deficient;students own less true and independent language practice;the way of text integration in unit teaching is relatively simple;the summary and reflection of unit teaching are not timely enough.These problems mentioned above affect the unit teaching in rural areas to some degrees.From the perspective of the problems existing in unit teaching,the research implements some suggestions:Focus on the unit goal and determine the teaching direction of the unit;Provide a variety of methods to integrate the content of unit teaching;develop learning activities skillfully to enhance the ability of language practice;Implement scientific evaluation,optimize the content of unit teaching;Apply multiple structure and organize the unit of the overall teaching and other five aspects of advice,which aims to provide some reference for the current design of the integration of unit teaching content in rural senior high schools.
