Analytical geometry is an algebraic method used to study the relations and properties between geometric objects.By establishing Cartesian coordinate system,the one-to-one correspondence relationship between curves and equations is established.Analytical geometry in senior high school is the initial stage of studying such relations,and it is also an important stage for students to form such ideas.Through three years of high school mathematics teaching experience,researchers found that students have great difficulties in learning analytic geometry knowledge.Therefore,the question of this study is "What is the current situation of analytic geometry teaching in senior high schools?","What are the teaching strategies of analytic geometry knowledge in high school?"On the basis of studying the mathematics Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition,2020 Revised),mathematic core literacy and reference information related to high school analytical geometry,320 junior high school students and 42 mathematics teachers from two high schools in a county of Gansu Provice were selected as the research objects.The methods of literature research and investigation(questionaires,interview method and the test method)were adopted in my research,which are aimed at the following five aspects: studying students learning interest and habits,the understanding of the value of analytic geometry between teachers and students,teachers' and students' attitudes toward the teaching method and evaluation method of analytic geometry,students' mastery of analytic geometry and the training of students' mathematical thinking and ability development.The conclusions are as follows.Teachers and students have a high degree of recognition of the value of analytic geometry,and teachers' teaching methods and evaluation methods are basically consistent with students' needs.However,students have the following problems in their interest in analytic geometry knowledge and their mastery of basic knowledge.Students have low interest in analytic geometry learning.The students' understanding of the basic knowledge of analytic geometry is not thorough enough.Most students confuse the definition and properties of ellipse and hyperbola,and the derivation process of point-slope equation and ellipse equation of a line is fuzzy.Students do not pay attention to the study of analytical geometry examples.Students lack the awareness of combining numbers and shapes,which leads to simple problems.The students' mathematical operation and logical reasoning ability are generally poor.Based on the analysis of the current situation of analytic geometry teaching,the paper puts forward some teaching strategies to promote the development of students' core literacy of mathematics in analytic geometry teaching: teachers can stimulate students' interest in learning analytic geometry knowledge through the "inquiry and discovery" module in teaching materials.Teachers should pay attention to students' interpretation of sample questions with expanding and leading functions,and use sample questions to promote the formation of knowledge and develop students' core qualities.Teachers should pay attention to the abstract process of basic knowledge from graphics,nature and even sign language.In teaching: teachers should deepen the consciousness and ability of drawing,recognizing and using pictures,and strengthen students' combination of numbers and shapes by setting up problems with supplementary numbers and supplementary numbers with shapes.Teachers should pay attention to the way of using multiple solutions for one problem,so as to effectively train students' computing ability and improve their computing speed.Through the similarity between different topics,improve students' awareness of analogy and induction,and then improve their logical reasoning capacity.Teachers should focus on formation technology and develop the ability of students' visual imagination.
