Mathematical language is not only a scientific language to express mathematical thinking,but also a carrier to convey mathematical theories and methods.It can be divided into three types: mathematical writing language,mathematical symbol language and mathematical schema language.In mathematics these three languages are not used alone,but mutually complementary,mutual conversion.The ability of mathematical language conversion plays an important role in mathematical ability.It can not only help students master mathematical knowledge better,but also develop students' mathematical thinking ability.On the basis of the existing research,this study investigates and analyzes the current situation of junior middle school students' mathematical language conversion ability,finds out the existing problems and influencing factors of junior middle school students' mathematical language conversion ability,and puts forward some feasible strategies to improve it.Through literature analysis,survey method,case analysis and interview method to xi 'an a junior middle school students to investigate,understand the current status of junior middle school students mathematics language transformation ability are as follows:(1)From the overall current junior middle school students mathematical language ability is not strong,in the mathematical language conversion of six dimensions,students' ability of converting text language schema language is best,converts text language to sign language ability,ability to convert schema language to sign language is the worst;(2)With the rise of the grade,the mathematical language conversion ability of junior middle school students is also gradually improved.The mathematical language conversion ability of junior middle school students is generally higher than that of junior middle school students;(3)There is no significant difference between male and female junior middle school students in mathematical language conversion ability.Based on the analysis of students' test papers and interview records,the factors that affect the mathematical language conversion ability of junior middle school students are divided into internal factors and external factors.The internal factors include:(1)the abstractness and conciseness of mathematical language;(2)Students' interest in mathematics and their emphasis on the language of mathematics.External factors include:(1)The standardization of teachers' teaching terms and writing on the teaching board;(2)The importance teachers attach to mathematical language conversion ability.On this basis,the following strategies are proposed to improve the mathematical language conversion ability of junior middle school students:(1)Focus on the simplification of language training,train students to find the right important information and grasp the key points when doing complex problems,cultivate the ability of information collection and processing,and improve the speed of problem solving while ensuring the correct rate;(2)Pay attention to the symbolic training of schema language,accurately grasp the meaning and characteristics of schema language,dig out the internal core content of schema language,and cultivate the ability of abstraction and generalization;(3)Pay attention to the pictorial training of words and languages,and accurately express the tedious words in schematic languages,so as to facilitate students' thinking and problem solving and cultivate their mathematical modeling ability;(4)Pay attention to language "translation" training,improve the students' understanding of the three mathematical languages,and cultivate the ability of language conversion;(5)To change the teachers' ideas,teachers themselves should pay attention to mathematical language conversion ability,do a good job of demonstration.
