Case Work Involved In Social Support For The Elderly Who Lost Their Only Child The Research Of The System

As a special group of the elderly,"the elderly who lost their only child" is ahead of them.Compared with other elderly groups with healthy children,they will face great pain and challenges in their later life after the death of their children.They need more attention and support from the whole society.In recent years,"the elderly who lost their only child" as a hot topic has attracted more and more attention in society,but in practical sense,all kinds of welfare support policies and security are still not mature enough.Therefore,in order to improve the status quo of the elderly who lost their only child and help them out of difficulties,we need to build a relatively complete social support network for them,and strengthen the effectiveness of their social support network.This study investigates the situation of the elderly who are lost independence in H street,XA City,and examines the current plight of the group.It analyzes the demand of the elderly with Maslow demand level theory,and analyzes the status quo of social support for the elderly in the street from two levels: formal and informal support subjects.By selecting Ms.L,a typical case lost woman,and using the intervention method of case work,the author and the case owner jointly identify the current problems and analyze the causes of the problems,and help the case owners to explore internal and external resources.Specifically,the task center model is used to help the project owner solve the material,cognitive,social and other problems in the scheduled work plan,strengthen the connection with formal and informal support resources,improve the ability and consciousness of the owner to obtain and use resources,and build a relatively complete social support network for the case owner.Through the case study,the author believes that there are three factors leading to the fracture of social support network of the elderly who lost their only child.On the one hand,the supply and demand of support are incompatible,which is maladjusted.The reason lies in the lack of interaction between the support subject and the support object,that is,the elderly who lost their only child.This interaction shows obvious one-way characteristics.The support subject does not grasp the real demand of the elderly who lost their only child,blindly provides certain support resources,and the support effect is greatly reduced.On the other hand,accept support,whether the subjective experience of support is consistent with the support provided,and their utilization of the support also determine whether the elderly can obtain high-quality social support networtk.Finally,the "rupture" and "conflict" between the elderly and their living environment aggravate their social isolation,which makes them unable to effectively obtain support resources from the environment.Finally,the researcher also summarizes three suggestions for the construction of social support network for the elderly who lost their only child: 1.Give full play to the advantages of the community level,and improve their living environment through community culture,interaction and participation.2.Attach importance to the supporting role of kinship.3.Strengthen the construction of talents and ability in the field of social work for the elderly.
