Mathematics competition is one of the important measures to discover,select and train mathematics talents,and plane geometry has always been an important part of mathematics competition.Therefore,a systematic study on the problem-solving process of plane geometry in mathematics competition is an important way to enrich mathematics competition theory.In view of the in-depth research on the pattern recognition theory of mathematical problem solving in our country,the paper used the methods of literature analysis and interview,combining with the plane geometry test questions in domestic and foreign mathematical competitions,and researched and discussed the problem solving process of plane geometry in mathematical competitions according to the pattern recognition theory.This study mainly includes the following aspects:Firstly,the related theories were summarized,and the research results of domestic and foreign scholars on plane geometry and pattern recognition in mathematics competitions were combed.In addition,the theories related to the research were sorted out based on the research,and the concepts of pattern and pattern recognition in solving plane geometry problems in mathematics competitions were defined.Secondly,the theoretical research on pattern recognition of solving plane geometry problems in mathematics competition was carried out,the pattern classification of solving plane geometry problems in mathematics competition and the operation process of pattern recognition were given,and the method of mastering pattern recognition of solving plane geometry problems was obtained,namely,learning to recognize pattern and accumulation pattern.There are three basic approaches to accumulation model: first,the construction of model in competition teaching;Second,the analysis and refinement of the problem-solving process;the third is to remember graphics,methods,types and theorems as a whole.For the second basic approach,the author analyzed the plane geometry competition test questions in the mathematical competitions at home and abroad in recent years,analyzed and refined three empirical graphic models in the process of solving the problems,used the geometer's sketchpad to dig deeply into the properties of the three empirical graphic models,and found some conclusions,and named them Pole configuratio n,Salmon configuration and Tabor configuration.Finally,through interviews,the specific cognitive process of students' pattern recognition at different levels in solving plane geometry problems in mathematics competitions was investigated,that is,the cognitive process of students' direct recognition,transformation recognition and integration recognition was studied.
