The new curriculum standard condenses the education value of the Chinese discipline into four core literacy.Focusing on the cultivation of the core literacy,and the reform of the senior high school Chinese curriculum continues to deepen.One of the key points of the new curriculum standard revision is to strengthen the education of excellent traditional Chinese culture.In recent years,traditional culture has attracted more attention.Excellent traditional culture is the precious spiritual wealth of the nation.The inheritance and development of excellent traditional Chinese culture is the right thing to build cultural confidence,and it is also the requirement to build Chinese courses with Chinese characteristics.The revision of the new curriculum standard reflects this requirement.The teaching of ancient Chinese prose is an important way to carry out the education of excellent traditional Chinese culture.Each volume in the compulsory Chinese textbook of the People’s Publishing House for high school all has a unit of ancient prose,which occupies an important position.However,as far as the actual teaching of ancient Chinese prose,there is still a certain gap between it and the cultivation of core literacy.Under the concept of exam-oriented,it only focuses on the knowledge and skills of ancient Chinese prose,ignores its rich cultural connotation,and shapes the significance of students’ healthy personality,weakens the value of teaching,solidifies teaching thinking,Homogeneity,failing to study the new curriculum standard and combine it with the existing textbook content.The core literacy concept comes first,but the actual operations are weak.This article takes ancient prose in compulsory textbooks as an example to carry out research work.The main research methods are literature review,statistical analysis,and class observation.The aim is to combine the core literacy of Chinese with the teaching of ancient prose reading,implement the requirements of the new curriculum standards,and improve the shortcomings in the teaching of ancient Chinese prose reading.Theoretically,it sorts out the development of core literacy concepts and the characteristics of ancient prose.In terms of teaching operation,it mainly focuses on the core language literacy,and explores the path of ancient prose in implementing language construction,thinking improvement,aesthetic perception,and cultural inheritance from several aspects of teaching goals,teaching strategies,homework design,and evaluation system,so as to the teaching value of ancient Chinese prose in cultivating students’ core literacy can be better exerted.
