Learning geography useful for lifelong development is one of the basic concepts of compulsory education geography curriculum.Through the study of geography course,students can think about problems from the perspective of geography,and help students gradually form the concept of man-land coordination and sustainable development.However,under the influence of the pressure of entering higher education,the phenomenon of "teaching for exams" still exists in geography teaching in middle schools.Teachers only pay attention to memorizing geography knowledge by rote and lack of guidance on students’ learning methods,which results in low efficiency of solving Problems and poor ability of knowledge transfer.The "advanced organizer" teaching strategy focuses on the relationship between old and new knowledge,helps students form a good knowledge structure,and promots the generation of students’ geographic knowledge transfer,thereby promots the development of students’ ability.This article compares the teaching practice of "advanced organizer" teaching strategy with traditional teaching strategy,and explores its application effect in the transfer of geography knowledge in junior high school.Based on the study of the theory of "advanced organizer" and theory of knowledge transfer,the present situation of student’ knowledge transfer ability is understood though questionnaire survey;the application desige of "advance organizer" strategy in knowledge transfer is carried out from the application conditions and the choice of presentation form "advance organizer" strategy,analyzed the content of the "advance organizer" strategy to realize knowledge transfer in the 7th grade geography textbook of Guangdong Education Edition,and designed four specific teaching Case: Finally,the evaluation of the effect of "advance organizer" strategy in knowledge transfer teaching is carried out.The teaching effect evaluation of consists two parts,teaching experiment and experiment effect questionnaire survey analysis.Through the research,we found that:(1)On the whole,the strategy of "advance organizer" teaching can promote the transfer of students’ geographical knowledge;(2)the strategy of "advanced organizer" is helpful for students master the three-dimensional goals of the course,especially for the transfer of knowledge and skills,process and methods;(3)Using the "advanced organizer" strategy teaching can significantly improve students’ cognitive level,generalization ability and comparative reasoning ability,and improve students’ knowledge transfer level;(4)using the strategy of "advanced organizer" can improve students’ interest in geography learning,help students reduce the influence of thinking stereotypes,and improve students’ enthusiasm and accuracy of knowledge transfer.Finally,on the bases of experiment,this paper puts forword the teaching enlightenment and suggestions of the "advance organizer" strategy in the transfer of geography knowledge in junior high school,in order to provide a reference for junior high school geography teaching.
