"Advance organizer" usually refers to a kind of guiding material that is introduced before the teaching content itself and enables learners to organize and explain new information.The advance organizer strategy starts with changing students' cognitive variables,builds a "bridge" between new and old knowledge,provides students with scaffolding,and promotes the understanding of new knowledge and the consolidation and maintenance of old knowledge.Applying this strategy to students 'self-study mathematics can improve their cognitive structure and effectively improve their mathematics reading ability.This research is divided into two parts:current situation investigation and experimental research.First of all,based on a review of relevant literature,the teacher and student volumes of the survey tool "Study Questionnaire on the Advancement of Organizers"Strategy Teaching" are analyzed and customized.Combined interviews,a survey of 786 students and 103 math teachers in three junior high schools in Shanxi Province was conducted.which provided a theoretical basis for subsequent research.Secondly,based on the results of the current situation survey and previous studies,it is determined to start with the types of antecedent organizers and use the prior knowledge as a control variable to examine the effect of different types of organizers on mathematics reading."Pythagorean theorem" was selected as the reading material for mathematics,and three types of organizers were compiled:text,graphics,text plus graphics.Students were tested in advance through the "Prerequisite Knowledge Questionnaire".Coupled with the unorganized control,2(high-prepared,lowprepared)* 4(text organizer,graphics organizer,text plus graphics organizer,unorganized)twofactor experiments were finally conducted.The self-made "Mathematics Reading Test Volume"was used for evaluation The tool is used to test four parallel classes in the second and second grades of L Middle School in Linfen City.Based on the experimental data,SPSS 25.0 was used for statistical analysis to specifically discuss the impact of this strategy on mathematics reading,and a series of targeted suggestions were given accordingly.Through research,the following conclusions are reached:(1)The current status of the advance organizer's strategy teaching differs between schools and grades,without gender differences.Among them,key public schools are better than ordinary public schools,and ordinary public schools are better than private schools.There is a significant difference between key public schools and private schools;the second grade is better than the third grade,and the first grade is the worst.There are significant differences in the third day;(2)Students fully understand the importance of the advance organizer's strategy,and most teachers have a vague understanding of the organizer's concept.Both have a high evaluation of their use effects,but the practical application level is at a medium level,and there is still room for improvement;(3)The application of the advance organizer strategy is affected by many factors:students' cognitive level and life experience,teacher professionalism,teaching content,teaching time,and teaching resources,etc.This is also the difficulty of strategy application;(4)The advance organizer strategy and prior knowledge are significantly positively correlated with math reading;(5)The advance organizer strategy has an important influence on mathematics reading,and there are differences in reading performance under different types of organizers.The results were highest in the text plus graphic organizer,followed by the text organizer and graphic organizer,and the lowest in the unorganized condition,with significant differences between each group.There is a difference in academic level.The top students are suitable for text plus graphic organizers and text organizers.The poor students are most suitable for text plus graphic organizers.Organizers of all types can improve the reading comprehension ability of top students and poor students to different degrees,and the impact on top students is higher than that on poor students.No gender differences;(6)The advance organizer strategy affects the reading of mathematics by improving the students 'character encoding,language translation,and comprehensive comprehension ability,and especially enhances the students' comprehensive comprehension ability;(7)Prior knowledge has an important influence on mathematics reading.The reading performance of those with high prior knowledge is higher than that of those with low readiness,and the results of the two groups are significantly different;(8)The interaction of prior organizer strategies and prior knowledge on mathematics reading is significant.The effect of different types of organizers on mathematical reading is affected by the level of students' prior knowledge,and this strategy has a greater impact on those with low prior knowledge.People with low prior knowledge are suitable for teaching with text plus graphic organizers and graphic organizers,and those with high prior knowledge are more suitable for direct teaching in addition to text with graphic organizers;(9)The linear regression equation of the effect of advance organizer strategy and prior knowledge on
