China is in the era of industrial upgrading and transformation,from labor-intensive industries to knowledge-intensive industries,which requires a large number of innovative talents.STEM education,as a kind of interdisciplinary learning and comprehensive Application of multi-disciplinary knowledge to solve complex problems in real situations,is beneficial to cultivate innovative talents,maintain the competitive advantage of talents,and enable the domestic industry to better transform and upgrade.PBL is one of the main learning methods in STEM education,which emphasizes "doing" learning and focuses on cultivating students' core qualities.In addition,the Information Technology Curriculum tandards(2017 Edition)advocate the guidance of STEM education concepts in the information technology curriculum,carry out PBL teaching,and cultivate students' awareness and ability to use information technology to solve problems and innovate design.By referring to the research on PBL teaching of information technology courses and combining with the research on STEM education,this paper explores the design and implementation of PBL teaching of junior middle school information technology courses based on STEM education concept.Based on the literature research on PBL teaching of STEM and IT courses,the ideas and modes of STEM education and PBL of IT courses are sorted out and summarized.The connotation,characteristics,accomplishment and realization path of STEM education,the connotation,characteristics and PBL teaching process,and the characteristics of junior middle school information technology courses are sorted out and summarized.Through classroom observation and teacher interviews and literature analysis,the application of PBL teaching students lack of the consciousness of active participation in PBL teaching and lack of cooperation,to explore in-depth theme of PBL,failed to properly use technology,not reasonable to carry out the design,lack of data analysis,should be relatively poor PBL teaching evaluation and so on.and carry out STEM education concept and junior high school information technology course of the PBL teaching in particular analysis.In order to improve the problems existing in PBL teaching of information technology course,and based on the analysis of the fit between STEM education and PBL teaching of information technology course in junior middle school,this paper comprehensively considers the teaching design principles such as the comprehensiveness of teaching theme,the inquiry of learning process,the cooperation of learning process,the diversity of teaching evaluation and the focus on the connection between in class and out of class,and combines the 6E teaching mode and PBL process to construct the PBL teaching model This paper introduces the PBL teaching model of junior middle school information technology course based on STEM education concept.Based on PBL model,two cases are designed and the teaching practice is carried out,the study group cooperation study carried out observation,and analysis conducted by PBL teaching evaluation gauge data is collected,and in the case after the completion of the interview for students and teachers,that is based on STEM education concept of junior middle school information technology curriculum of PBL teaching effectively,it can train students to deal with complex problems,innovativeness,cooperative learning,scientific inquiry,technology application,engineering design and data analysis ability and other core qualities.
