In 2018,the third grade Chinese textbook of the unified primary school officially included prediction strategies as teaching knowledge points,and designed the teaching content of the entire unit around the prediction strategies.Since then,predictive strategies have officially entered the scope of implementation of Chinese classroom teaching and formally entered the research field of education and teaching researchers.With the development of the times,reading strategies that can improve reading ability have been paid more and more attention by countries all over the world.Predictive strategies,as one of them,can effectively improve students’ reading interest,reading ability and writing ability.However,since teachers had less contact with predictive strategy teaching before,the current teaching effect is not yet ideal.Predictive strategy as a reading strategy can only be taught and learned in reading activities.Therefore,the research scope of this research is mainly the reading teaching part of the predictive strategy unit.On the basis of clarifying the research results related to prediction,this research combines the theory of reading process model,modern schema theory and metacognition theory to sort out the representation of prediction,reading teaching principles,teaching methods and teaching implementation procedures.Then,based on the results of the current survey,find out the problems and their causes in the prediction strategy teaching,and put forward targeted suggestions for improvement based on this.The full text includes the following parts.One is the introduction part.Based on the sorting and analysis of relevant literature,the research status and development context of forecasting strategies and forecasting strategy teaching are sorted out.On this basis,research problems are identified,and theoretical foundations are found to lay a foundation for the development of follow-up research.The second is the elaboration of prediction strategy teaching theory.This part is the difficult point of the research,which is mainly divided into four parts: the representation of prediction in reading psychology,the reading teaching principle of prediction strategy,the teaching method of prediction strategy in reading teaching,and the teaching implementation procedure.Based on modern graphical theory,the prediction mechanism is derived.Combined with the research on prediction,summarize the characteristics,nature,and psychological process of prediction.Combining the teaching practice of predictive strategies,summarize the teaching principles and teaching methods of predictive strategy reading.Finally,according to the prediction process,combined with the basic process of classroom teaching,the teaching implementation procedure is obtained.The third is the analysis of the teaching problems of elementary school Chinese prediction strategies.Two research methods,classroom observation and student interviews,are used to investigate and describe the current teaching situation of predictive strategies,and find out the existing problems.Observation in the classroom shows that there are general and incomplete expressions of teaching goals in the teaching of Chinese prediction strategies in elementary schools;the selection of teaching content is one-sided and individual differences are large;teaching guidance is not well-targeted;and the teaching environment is not coordinated.It can be seen from student interviews that the effect of student strategy mastery is not good.The fourth is the cause of the problems in the teaching of Chinese prediction strategies in primary schools.The research method of teacher interviews is adopted to explore the causes of the teaching problems of predictive strategies.It turns out that the cause of the problem lies in teachers’ one-sided understanding of predictive strategy teaching,insufficient relevant knowledge reserves,inadequate analysis of teaching content,and insufficient reflection.The fifth is the teaching strategy of elementary school Chinese prediction strategy.Based on the analysis of the problems and causes of prediction strategy teaching,combined with related research,the targeted improvement strategies are proposed as follows: closely follow the nature of prediction,clarify the teaching goal of prediction strategy;analyze the teaching content,and grasp the teaching process of prediction strategy;The combination of explanation and self-study enriches the guidance forms of forecasting strategies;student-centered,improving the teaching environment of forecasting strategies;expanding the form of activities and integrating the teaching resources of forecasting strategies.
