The wheel of history never stops.We have pushed open the door of a new era.In November 2019,the state issued the Outline for the Implementation of Patriotic Education in the New Era(hereinafter referred to as the "Outline"),putting patriotic education for young students on the agenda once again.Ideological and political courses in high school,as the subjects of the college entrance examination,adhere to moral cultivation,pay attention to the core quality,and comprehensively strengthen the patriotic education,which is the main place to cultivate the patriotic feelings of senior high school students.Combined with the background of the new era,it is of realistic value and far-reaching significance to optimize the patriotism education in the ideological and political teaching of senior high schools.This paper mainly discusses in detail from the following three parts:The first part,the definition of patriotism education in the new era of high school ideological and political teaching.First of all,the author makes clear the connotation of patriotism education and grasps its main content comprehensively.Secondly,in combination with the Outline and the Ideological and Political Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)(hereinafter referred to as the "Curriculum Standards"),the specific requirements are summarized,and the practical significance is summarized from three perspectives: individual,curriculum and country.The second part,the problems of patriotism education in the new era of high school ideological and political teaching.In combination with teaching,student interviews,classroom records,etc.,the author analyzes the problems from the perspectives of teachers,teaching methods,content,and evaluation,which lays a solid foundation for the third part of this study.The third part,the promotion of patriotism education in the new era of high school ideological and political teaching countermeasures,this chapter is the focus of this study.In view of the problems in the previous chapter,the author puts forward targeted measures from four aspects of strengthening teachers' quality,constructing method system,optimizing teaching content and improving teaching evaluation,and selects typical lesson examples in high school ideological and political textbooks for analysis and demonstration,so as to enhance the application value of this study.
