"Content focused big concept" is one of the four basic concepts proposed in the biology curriculum standard of senior high school,which emphasizes that the implementation of biology curriculum should adhere to the principle of "less but better".As a teaching method of knowledge induction and summary,concept map can help students correct the previous concepts,build a bridge between new and old knowledge,and promote the formation of students' knowledge network structure.Therefore,the teaching of concept map based on big concept is helpful to promote the development and interaction of students' understanding of concepts,and has a positive effect on students' learning.Therefore,this paper focus on a practical research on concept map teaching based on big concept.The methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,interview,practice research and case analysis were used in this paper.The research objects are the students of Anhui Fuyang No.1 Middle School in the second year of senior high school.Through the questionnaire survey and interview,the awareness,recognition and use of big concept and concept map were investigated.In the practical research,two classes with no significant difference in scores were selected as the experimental class and the control class.In addition,the teaching design of concept map based on big concept was studied in practice.Through the final examination results of two classes,we can know whether it has a positive effect on students' learning.According to the questionnaire,the current high school teachers and students have some cognition and recognition of the concept map,but the use of the concept map is lacking.For the big concept,the high school teachers and students are insufficient in recognition,recognition and use,and have a high potential to improve.At the same time,the practice of concept map teaching based on big concept shows that:(1)concept map teaching based on big concept is helpful to the development of students' scientific thinking;(2)concept map teaching based on big concept can better carry out teaching activities and teaching evaluation;(3)concept map teaching based on big concept has a positive effect on learning;(4)concept map teaching based on big concept can be implemented.Through the practical research of high school biology concept map based on big concept,we hope to improve the reference value for the majority of high school teachers and students,promote the diversified teaching development of teachers and help students to improve learning efficiency.
