Reconstruction Of Emotional Support Network For The Elderly Living Alone In Resettlement Community

Under the background of the aging population,due to the rapid development of society,the family concept of modern young people has changed under the influence of the background of the times,which has also changed the traditional family structure.the family structure has become miniaturized and core,and the family structure of "four generations living together" has become a thing of the past.Many children choose to set up their own families and do not live with their parents.As a result,there are a large number of empty nesters in the society,and the elderly living alone are those whose children are not around and because of widowhood and other reasons,they live alone,and they are the most vulnerable group among the elderly groups.at the same time,it is also a group that needs more social attention and concern.compared with the elderly in other communities,the elderly in the demolition and resettlement community left the place where they lived when they were young,with the change of the living environment.Children are not around,neighborhood relationship is estranged,peer group support is insufficient,culture and entertainment is single,community integration is difficult and other reasons feel lonely,emotional support network gradually become simple,emotional comfort can not be satisfied.Taking the demolition and resettlement A community as the research field,this paper investigates and analyzes the emotional status of the elderly living alone through questionnaires and structured interviews.It is found that the elderly living alone in A community have some problems,such as lack of family emotion,alienation of neighborhood relations,insufficient support of peer groups,single way of cultural entertainment,insufficient community comfort and so on.In view of the fact that group work is relative to other methods of social work.It has the double advantage that the members of the participating group can change their behavior through interaction and mutual assistance,and at the same time,it can also effectively integrate resources.Therefore,under the guidance of social support network theory and activity theory,this paper selects 10 elderly people living alone in community A for demolition and resettlement as service objects and adopts the way of group work.Intervene from the family level,neighborhood relations,peer groups and community support to help the elderly living alone in community An alleviate the lack of spiritual comfort,actively tap the effective resources around them,and improve the family relationship with their children.close the relationship with the neighborhood,get to know peer groups and other aspects to reconstruct the emotional support network of the elderly living alone,make it rich and diversified.After the intervention,the author evaluates the effect of the activity,and reflects on the deficiency and feasibility of the intervention of group work in the emotional comfort of the elderly living alone.The reflection should take into account the respective advantages and disadvantages of group work and casework.Only by combining group work with casework can we better understand the emotional needs of elderly people living alone.The time and depth of intervention need to be further improved,and it is necessary for social workers to follow up the effect of service for a long time,establish a certain relationship with the clients,form a sound mechanism,consolidate the achievements,and realize the model of multidisciplinary cooperation.in order to better meet the needs of the elderly living alone.Expand the influence of the media and enhance social support,so that the elderly living alone can better enjoy their old age with the support of all aspects of society.Hope to satisfy the emotional comfort of the elderly living alone and improve the happiness index of the elderly living alone.
