Analysis Of The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of The Development Of Sports Tourism Industry In Xinyang City

Since the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the national economy has grown rapidly and social development has entered a new stage.People have shifted from the basic needs of food,clothing and warmth to the pursuit of physical and mental pleasure and emotional satisfaction.As an emerging complex industry,sports tourism not only meets the needs of the people for leisure and fitness,but also plays an indispensable role in expanding the tourism market and promoting the transformation and upgrading of the sports industry.At present,the tourists with leisure and fitness as the main purpose account for about three quarters of the total number of tourists in China.Therefore,sports tourism in China has a certain market basis,but also faces a broader development prospect,and is bound to become a new development momentum of green industrial economy.According to the Qinling Mountains and Huaihe River as the traditional geographical boundary between the south and the north of China,Xinyang City,which is located in the south of the Huaihe River,is the only southern city in Henan Province,with unique ecological natural resources and bright red culture base.In addition,The accessible traffic,abundant human resources and strong folk sports culture are also the inexhaustible driving force to support the development of sports tourism industry in Xinyang City.This study of the sports tourism industry as the research object,through the literature material method,the methods of on-the-spot investigation method,expert interview method,in combing the current research status about sports tourism at home and abroad,on the basis of further defined categories and characteristics of sports tourism,sports tourism industry in xinyang development strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and challenges are summarized,and the following conclusions:(1)Sports tourism is the product of the integration and development of the two industries,and participation motivation is the primary characteristic of sports tourism,which is different from pure sports and tourism.The typical characteristics of sports tourism can be summarized as outstanding skills,strong thrill and stimulation,the unity of sightseeing and participation,and the integration of ecology and civilization.(2)The advantages of developing the sports tourism industry in Xinyang City are the advantaged ecological environment and rich sports tourism resources;The area has a large population,which lays a solid foundation for potential customers.Convenient transportation,perfect infrastructure,with the strength of holding major events.(3)The disadvantages of development of sports tourism industry in Xinyang City are the lagging policy formulation and the lack of overall development planning by the administrative department;The low degree of market development makes it difficult to form industrialization development;The lack of publicity,closed channels,single means and a serious shortage of professionals.(4)The opportunity for the development of sports tourism industry in Xinyang City is that leisure and entertainment industry is ushered in a period of development opportunities with the continuous enhancement of people's health concept;National policies and opportunities such as "beautiful countryside" and "sports-leisure characteristic town" promote the development of sports tourism;The profound folk culture of Xinyang has cultivated many traditional sports.The integrated development of Central Plains cities promotes exchanges and cooperation with other cities,and the intensifying regional competition drives industrial transformation and upgrading.(5)The challenge to the development of sports tourism industry in Xinyang is the continuous deterioration of ecological environment caused by blind development;Regional competition leads to the weakening of the original advantages;The main body of the market is not mature,and sports is positioned as an auxiliary industry to cooperate with the development of tourism.In view of the disadvantages and challenges in the development of sports tourism industry in Xinyang City,we should attach importance to the guiding role of policies and adhere to the development direction of "landscape ecology and red culture".Create sports tourism quality route;To further deepen industrial integration by broadening publicity channels and creating famous brand products,and to establish an efficient and complete regulatory system platform;Spare no effort to train and introduce professional talents,and continue to develop sports tourism products with local characteristics,so as to take the lead in the increasingly fierce regional competition.
