Development And Research Of Activities Cases Of Chemistry In High School Study Travel

In September 2014,the middle and high school integration experimental class of the Middle School affiliated to Hainan Normal University began the practice of study travel.In the past six years,the experimental class students have traveled all over Hainan Island and the mainland of the motherland.The large-scale study travel exercised the comprehensive ability of the students in the experimental class,trained a group of teachers and practitioners engaged in study travel research,established a number of study travel bases,created and expanded a large number of activity cases with the Hainan regional characteristics in various disciplines in high school study travel,and compiled a batch of middle school teaching materials of study travel.It won the Second Prize of the basic education of the Ministry of Education and the Special Prize of the basic education achievement of the Hainan Provincial Department of Education.In order to further develop the activity cases with the Hainan regional characteristics of chemistry subject in the study travel of middle school,this research is based on the research work of study travel that has been completed in the experimental classes,in response to the situation that there is a few activity cases of chemistry,this research further adopts the scientific method of combining theoretical research and practical research,using literature analysis method,questionnaire survey method,field investigation method,interview method and other research methods.The research created 6 activity cases with Hainan regional characteristics of chemistry,including the measurement of the salt content of the Nandujiang basin and the distance to the sea in the hiking activity of study travel,the handmade soap of the National Science and Technology Park of Hainan Normal University and etc.Some of the activity cases used intelligent small household appliances,which are intended to cultivate students' scientific measurement capabilities.Some of the activity cases have been put into practice in the middle and high school integrated experimental classes,and have been achieved good teaching results.Due to the impact of the epidemic,the study travel in 2020 was almost suspended.Some activity cases have only completed the preliminary design,and practical research has not been carried out among students.Through the analysis of the practical results obtained in the activity cases that have been carried out,this study draws the following conclusions:(1)Under the background of incomplete development of current study travel,it is of great practical significance to develop a batch of activity cases of chemistry that aimedly combine with students' chemistry courses in middle school study travel.This thesis develop six activity cases of chemistry on the basis of previous research work,and made initial contributions to the expansion of activity cases of chemistry for study travel in Hainan province.(2)As an international tourist island,Hainan province has the potential to develop study travel activity cases.The research shows that the educationally significant activity cases of chemistry with Hainan's regional characteristics will play an important role in the in-depth development of study travel in Hainan,and these activity cases of chemistry with Hainan regional characteristics will also provide reference for our country to carry out activity cases of chemistry in study travel.(3)The questionnaire survey shows that 89% of the students who participated in the activity cases of chemistry in study travel in the middle school believe that the implementation of the activity cases of chemistry has excited their interest in learning chemistry,and 98% of the students believe that the chemistry knowledge learned from the activity cases of chemistry in study travel promoted the study of chemistry subjects,so concluded that the implementation of the activity cases of chemistry has a direct role in promoting chemistry teaching in middle schools,and the addition of activity cases of chemistry has an irreplaceable value for improving the quality of study travel.(4)The questionnaire survey shows that 67% of students believe that participating in activity cases of chemistry has increased their interest in exploring science,and almost 80%of students believe that participating activity cases of chemistry during the middle school study travel has improved their hands-on ability.The practice of study travel in the middle and high school integration experimental classes of the Middle School affiliated to Hainan Normal University in the past 7 years also shows that the implementation of study travel can effectively cultivate students' innovative spirit and practical ability,and cultivate students' cooperation and communication ability,scientific measurement ability,language expression ability,etc.(5)Through interviewing with 16 front-line middle school chemistry teachers,the research learned that the practice of activity cases of chemistry in study travel in middle school promoted their enthusiasm for participating in the study of activity cases of chemistry in study travel,and improved their ability to combine chemistry teaching and practice,promoted the improvement of their teaching standards.Innovation:1.Combining the regional characteristics of Hainan Province to develop activity cases of chemistry in study travel is fully taking advantage of Hainan's local teaching resources,and showing the potential tourism value and educational value of Hainan Province as an international tourist island;2.Implementing activity cases of chemistry in study travel,and conducting questionnaire surveys on the implementation effects is in order to understand the changes after students participated in activity cases of chemistry in study travel,and conclude that the development and implementation of activity cases of chemistry play an important role in students' quality education.It has made initial contributions for the combination of chemistry subjects and study travel;3.Using TDS water quality test pens,portable p H meter and other intelligent household instruments to design quantitative chemistry experiments in activity cases of chemistry in study travel is very important for students to learn chemistry from a quantitative perspective and is also conducive to training students' good qualities such as scientific measurement ability,honesty and trustworthiness.
