The world is in a period of great change and development in nowadays.Facing complex and uncertain future world,how to cultivate future citizens who can adapt to the work and life of future? International organizations and economies emphasized that education should cultivate students' critical thinking,creativity,communication and cooperation skills in the21 st century.However,the teachers-centered traditional classroom cannot meet the needs,but the students' autonomous learning and innovative practice could.Project-based learning(PBL)is one kind of student-centered teaching mode.With the help and guidance of teachers,students cooperate with groups to explore open and challenging tasks,achieve learning goals and results.In this process,students develop team cooperation ability,problem solving ability,communication ability,creativity and so on.Based-on the literature research,this paper reviews the research progress and supporting theories of PBL at home and abroad;refines the development strategies of PBL resources.The PBL case "starch sugar and its application" relies on the high school chemistry "sugar" content,takes chemistry as the main subject,integrates the Life Education Theory,STEM,Constructivism and other concepts,and sets up a variety of evaluation methods to evaluate the teaching effect.The results show that the developed PBL case can stimulate students' interest in learning,change their learning attitude,and deepen their understanding of knowledge;it can broaden students' knowledge,promote students' deep learning,and cultivate students' engineering thinking and the ability to solve problems.Innovation:1.This paper reviews the research progress and supporting theories of PBL at home and abroad,and refines the development strategies of PBL resources;2.The PBL resources with "sugar" content are developed based on the requirements of the new chemistry curriculum standard and the resource development strategies;3.In this paper,the project resources integrated the knowledge of biology and information retrieval,infiltrated the application of chemistry of life,society and industrial manufacturing,contacted the contents of science,engineering and technology,and highlight the cultivation of students' various abilities and qualities.
