| Music appreciation course in senior high school is one of the six modules of compulsory music course in senior high school.Western orchestral works have become an indispensable part of music appreciation teaching because of their huge structure and rich forms of expression.In the teaching process,students can learn inquiry learning through listening,discussing,experiencing and analyzing Western orchestral works,thus improving their aesthetic judgment and musical cultural accomplishment.In this paper,various research methods such as literature research,interview,observation,questionnaire survey and experimental research are used.Western orchestral works in high school music appreciation teaching materials are the main research content.By studying related literature,teaching practice and experience summary,combined with one-semester internship and field lectures in Haikou No.4 Middle School,questionnaires are distributed to teaching objects,and relevant data of high school music appreciation classes are collected,thus further analyzing the teaching materials and teaching of Western orchestral works in high school music appreciation classes.On the basis of theory,this paper explores how to appreciate western orchestral works and how to improve students’ music literacy and aesthetic ability through the appreciation teaching of such works.According to the problems found in observation and investigation,this paper puts forward operable suggestions and strategies for the teaching of Chinese and Western orchestral works in high school music appreciation courses,hoping to provide referential suggestions and theoretical research for music appreciation teaching in high schools.This paper is divided into four parts: the first part is the introduction,which expounds the research background and significance,research status at home and abroad,research methods,research innovations and so on;The second part analyzes the significance and difficulties of appreciation of western orchestral works.The third part is an analysis of the current teaching situation of western orchestral works in high school music appreciation class,taking Haikou No.4 Middle School(senior middle school)as an example,taking the sophomore students as the investigation object;The fourth part expounds the teaching strategies of appreciation of western orchestral works in senior high schools,and puts forward the contents that teachers can add in the teaching of appreciation of orchestral works and the feasible teaching strategies. |
