Textbooks,students learn to master as the main material of knowledge,is one of the major educational activities to ensure that an essential element,but also the quality of teaching.Therefore,the development is inseparable from the development of education materials.Research on materials,especially research in 2001 after the new curriculum prepared by the 2011 version of the materials allows us to better grasp the forefront of the current requirements for music lessons and better understand the design of materials,in order to reflect spread values and teaching philosophy.This paper chose two textbook editions currently most used in Henan province as study object,which are from The People's Music Press(in the paper noted as PMP for short)and The People's Education Press(in the paper noted as PEP for short).By comparing the different aspects between these two editions,including the set of units,the selecting of masterpieces and the skills on music,we can find out structure characteristics and regularity of characteristics of these two series of textbooks.PMP's edition textbooks,for example,in the end of each of the textbooks there is Henan local music extracted.In addition,it also pay attention to the development of Chinese national folk music,collecting a variety of local folk music for students to perceive.However,the PEP's edition textbooks showed different genre of music to learn the part of European music.At last,on the basis of the new music course standard,the paper did thorough and deep thinking on the attribute of music curriculum,the fundamental ideas of curriculum,the design of the textbooks,and the total object,finding some problems in teaching practice.These result not only give out reference to the front line teacher,but also could make the author prepare well for the understanding of text books and promoting the value of books in the forthcoming work.
