At present,the economic development of our country is rapid,but the construction of spiritual level can not keep pace with it.How to improve the overall moral level of society and enhance the people’s consciousness of rule of law has become an urgent problem to be solved to ensure the long-term and stable development of society.Under this background,the Ministry compiled "Morality and Rule of Law" as a national primary and secondary school general teaching material designated by the Ministry of Education,the content of a comprehensive new,more emphasis on the cultivation of junior high school students’ moral literacy and awareness of the rule of law.The role-playing teaching method has gradually attracted the attention of junior middle school ideological and political educators because it can ensure the interest of the classroom and the subjectivity of students,and at the same time,it can imperceptibly improve the comprehensive quality of students.According to the classroom teaching needs of junior high school under the background of the use of the textbook "morality and Rule of Law ",this paper studies the application of the teaching method in the current junior high school moral and rule of law course.The content of the paper is divided into five parts.The first part,based on the current social situation,expounds the background of the topic from the practical teaching needs of the moral and rule of law course in junior high school and the concept and characteristics of the textbook compilation,and expounds the significance of the topic from the angles of theory and practice.The second part explains the connotation and characteristics of role-playing teaching method in junior high school "morality and rule of law ",discusses the theoretical basis of the application of the teaching method in junior high school " morality and rule of law ",and analyzes the feasibility of the application of the teaching method in junior high school morality and rule of law from the aspects of relevant documents and practical needs of the Ministry of Education.In the third part,the students and teachers of a middle school in Yantai are investigated by questionnaire and interview,and the use of role-playing teaching method in the classroom of morality and rule of law in this middle school is obtained.Based on the results of interviews with teachers of morality and rule of law in the middle school,this part summarizes the main problems existing in the practical application of the teaching method in the classroom of morality and rule of law in junior high school,and analyzes the causes of each problem from different angles.The fourth part systematically puts forward the application strategy of role-playing teaching method in junior high school moral and rule of law course from three aspects: the preparation stage,the implementation stage and the evaluation and summary stage after the use of teaching method.The strategy of teaching method preparation stage includes reasonable presupposition situation,flexible assignment of role,planning and guidance ahead of time,and the strategy of teaching method implementation stage includes guiding students to enter the situation,guiding the rhythm of activity control,and discussing and sharing in time.The fifth part uses the teaching method application strategy proposed above,designs the concrete teaching application case according to the ninth grade first edition "the morals and the rule of law" the sixth lesson second box second goal content.
