With the development of the society,fashion design grabs more public attention.Carrying out a sound system of high-quality art courses in the junior high school is very important for the cultivation of students' mind,aesthetic,sentiment and other comprehensive quality,at the same time that is closely related to the development of times and our daily life.Nowadays,costume design is playing an important role in the design course.In fact,students are unable to have a systematic and in-depth study of the costume design due to the short hours of art lessons in the middle school.In addition,the inherent and traditional education concept of art teachers has not been completely changed.Therefore,the art education in middle school is mostly based on the painting courses,and the practical design courses which are closely related to the real life have been ignored.Based on the continuous advancement of the current basic education curriculum,art teachers should change the original traditional art teaching ideas and pay attention to the students' feedbacks of aesthetic quality and application ability after art courses.In order to approach a more reasonable teaching design of the junior high school art fashion design course,this paper investigates the teaching status of junior high school art fashion design course and analyzes the relevant materials and art textbooks.Moreover,the author intends to understand the interests and preferences of students and utilize the combination of the professional knowledge and education theory references.This paper is mainly composed of five parts: introduction,overview,current teaching status,teaching strategies and teaching practice.The first part of introduction analyzes the research background and current research status of junior high school art costume design course.The second part gives the outline of junior high school art costume design course and arguments of the aesthetic consciousness,thinking personality,practical ability,innovative thinking,core quality and comprehensive development based on the teaching value of junior high school art costume design courses.The third part analyzes the current junior high school fashion design teaching status in depth with different investigation methods.The fourth part researches the teaching strategies of junior high school art costume design courses according to various aspects of students' learning situation,teaching content,teaching methods and evaluation system.The fifth part combines the authors' internship experience with typical cases of classroom teaching.Furthermore,this part practically introduces the teaching process and achievements of junior middle school arts costume design courses.In the end,this paper concludes the problems and effects of teaching practice.The author also provides practical teaching reference of future junior middle school art costume design courses by presenting relevant recommendations and prospects.
