With the development of the times,the requirements of the state and society for the quality of the students are gradually improving.In this context,students must change the way of learning to achieve deep learning.However,the traditional teaching methods can not meet the needs of deep learning,so new teaching modes are emerging,and 5E Teaching Mode is one of them.The research of 5E Teaching Mode at home and abroad indicates that the following points: The research by the foreign scholars starts earlier and has a wide range of application;the research by the domestic scholars develops from theory to application level.But there is a little research on “5E Teaching Mode based on deep learning theory”,and there is also a lack of applied research on the teaching of “optical module”in junior high school physics.Based on the above background,these methods are used for applying the “5E Teaching Mode based on deep learning theory” to the teaching of “optical module”: questionnaire survey,interview and educational experiment.The main contents include the following aspects:First of all,the questionnaire survey of junior high school students is compiled to understand the status of deep learning;teachers are interviewed to understand the teachers' recognition and suggestions of 5E Teaching Mode and deep learning,and provide reference to design and implement this mode.The principle of “5E Teaching Mode based on deep learning theory” as follows:This mode is based on the shortcomings and need of junior high school students,it takes the 5E Teaching Mode as the framework,integrates the concept of deep learning into 5E Teaching Mode,and sets the goal of deep learning.It can help students achieve the goals of deep learning step by step.Finally,this mode is applied to the teaching of “optical module”.Teaching of the experimental class is interfered,the learning effect of the two classes is tested by evaluation scale,post-test questionnaire and optical test from both horizontal and vertical perspectives.Through the practice,the following conclusions is drawn:(1)The evaluation scale shows that the mode can promote the realization of teaching objectives.(2)The data of the pretest and post-test questionnaire shows that the average value of pretest in the cognitive field,thinking field and emotional field is 25.3870,17.6453 and 29.0001,and the average value of post-test is 26.4838,18.0646 and 29.4194.The average value of post-test is higher than that of pretest,which indicates that students have improved in all fields.(3)By analyzing the independent sample “t” test of the two classes,it is found that there is no significant difference in the score of shallow knowledge(sig =0.165 > 0.05),while there is significant difference in the score of deep knowledge(sig= 0.025 < 0.05).It shows that the “5E Teaching Mode based on deep learning theory”can improve students' grade,especially the grade of deep knowledge.Through the above research,it is proved that the “5E Teaching Mode based on deep learning theory”has advantages in promoting the deep learning for junior high school students.
