This study focuses on the modules of "Steady State and Regulation" in PEP edition,Zhejiang Science edition,Beijing Normal University edition and Shanghai Education edition, and the textbook is compared from four aspects: chapter content setting, column type setting, chart setting and exercise setting. At the same time, taking the chapter of immune regulation as an example, the chapter knowledge content of four editions of the textbook is compared. Then, referring to Professor Shi Ningzhong and Professor Liu Enshan's method of analyzing the static difficulty of the textbook, the difficulty of the fourth edition of the textbook is evaluated and compared from three dimensions: knowledge content, exploratory column and exercises.Using the expert scoring method,in addition to myself, five evaluators were invited to rate the knowledge content, the exploratory column and the depth of the exercises in the four editions of the textbook. Finally,Kendall's harmony coefficient method is used to determine the reliability of the grader. The results show that four edition of the textbook has some common points, including all the sub-concept of this module in the curriculum standard, and infiltrate a lot of material to cultivate the core literacy in the textbook, and many real situations appear in the exercises and the text. However, each version of the textbook has its advantages and disadvantages.Four edition of the textbook shows some differences, the specific quantitative research results are as follows:1.Average number of pictures per page ranked for the PEP edition > Shanghai Education edition > Zhejiang Science edition > Beijing Normal University edition.2.The order of difficulty of knowledge content is: Beijing Normal University edition > Zhejiang Science edition > PEP edition > Shanghai Education edition.3.exploratory column difficulty ranking is :Beijing Normal University edition > Shanghai Education edition > PEP edition > Zhejiang Science edition.4.The background situation level and question form level of exercises are all in Shanghai Education edition > Beijing Normal University edition > PEP edition > Zhejiang Science edition. The depth level of the exercises is Beijing Normal University edition > Shanghai Education edition > PEP edition >Zhejiang Science edition.Based on the above research, this paper puts forward five suggestions for high school biology teachers: teachers can refer to the real situation created in textbooks, and users can choose textbooks of the most suitable difficulty according to their own situations.Teachers can refer to different versions of teaching materials and collect materials from each version to develop students' core literacy in biology.Teachers can use the exercises in different version of the textbook as a supplementary exercise to test the effect of students' learning. The author puts forward five suggestions for the textbook writers: the appropriate difficulty should be chosen for the textbook compilation,to add more real situations,to innovate ways of asking questions,to enrich the types and numbers of charts and columns, and to pay attention to the infiltration of the core literacy of biology...
