An Empowering Study Of Juvenile Justice Social Work

In recent years,the social work of juvenile justice has developed relatively fast in our country,which is actually the result of the social work of juvenile justice constantly realizing its own capacity in practice.However,the social work of juvenile justice also exposed its own "weakness problem" in the process,and encountered a development dilemma.Therefore,the author tries to use the theory of empowerment to discuss the self-empowerment and development of social work of juvenile justice in China,combining with the current service capacity of social work of juvenile justice in China.Based on the fact that Agency Y has been self-empowering in participating in juvenile justice,and has cooperated with relevant departments many times.Industry practitioners in related fields may get enlightenment on the enhancement of social work of juvenile justice,so as to promote their own self-enhancement in the practice process and promote the overall progress of the industry.This study mainly uses case study and literature analysis methods.On the one hand,the author to Y institutions involved of the juvenile crimes one relevant case as an example,prove that social work in helping the judicial pro-curatorial organ education the effectiveness of the juvenile,the social work carries on the judicial assignment services space,increase of juvenile justice social work profession itself can provide a practical platform,at the same time can increase on the basis of promoting the development of the social work profession itself;on the other hand,the author through literature analysis method to increase energy theory,social work can increase and juvenile justice social work such as literature analysis and reference,understanding of juvenile justice social work can increase the status quo,analysis of social work in the juvenile justice how can increase in the service,to discuss the self-empowered juvenile justice social work and development issues.Through literature research and summarization,this paper extracts important clues about the self-empowerment of Y agency during its participation in juvenile justice,and draws the following three conclusions:First,the theory of empowerment has a strong reference and significance in the empowerment of juvenile justice social work itself.On the one hand,the empowerment theory has an important enlightening effect on the juvenile justice social work to reflect on the weak energy problems exposed in the process of development,to promote their awareness of the empowerment problem,improve their awareness of the empowerment,and stimulate their motivation to change;Combined with Y institutions of juvenile justice,on the other hand,relevant successful experience,juvenile justice can increase theory point of view revealed empowered path of social work,the author puts forward such juvenile justice social work should be on participation,reflection,cooperation and raise their professional can realize own gain,and this requires the government institutions,colleges and universities,social work and social workers and other multilateral joint efforts.Second,the current development of juvenile judicial social work in China has the problem of "weak capacity"."Weakness" is reflected in the ambiguity of the professional role of juvenile justice social work,the weak ability to deal with the conflicts of values and concepts of different industries in the cooperative team,the weak knowledge ability in the service field,and the lack of coverage of service objects.The "weak ability" of juvenile justice social work is caused by the lagging education in colleges and universities,the lack of training in front-line practice,and the concentration of services for vulnerable groups and regions in developed cities and communities.Third,juvenile justice social work can realize self-enhancement in service practice.Although the social work has its "weak ability",the "weak" can overcome the "strong",its strength in the ability to recognize their own "weak ability" and overcome it,and finally overcome the weak to achieve the strength and development of juvenile justice social work.The successful experience of Agency Y in the practice of social work in juvenile justice includes active participation,reflection,improvement of professionalism and definition of its own professional role,which has important reference significance for social work in juvenile justice to realize self-empowerment.The successful intervention of Agency Y in juvenile delinquents has not only enabled it to win the trust of several relevant departments successively,but also continuously gained more opportunities to participate in juvenile justice work services,providing a higher practice platform for the enhancement of the social work industry of juvenile justice,which itself is closely related to its continuous self-empowerment in practice.
