Physical education occupies an essential position in the modern quality-teaching curriculum system of China.Recent years,with the continuously increasing status of physical education in education domain,a series of curriculum teaching reforms on junior middle school physical education are being continuously pushed forward.A variety of "new" physical education teaching methods have also begun to change or innovate.PBL teaching method,which aims to highlight the dominant position of students,regards the development of students as the major part of education,and believes that teachers should give students certain guidance in order to let students learn to think independently as well as cooperative studying.The advantages of PBL teaching method meet the teaching requirements for comprehensive training of people.This paper first uses literature method,and then questionnaire survey method and teaching experiment method as well as other methods are used in order to conduct a fourteen-week football teaching experiment.This experiment chose students Class 2 and Class 7 of the seventh grade in No.16 Middle School of Shihezi as experimental objects.The significance lies in verifying the practicality of PBL teaching method in junior high school football teaching through teaching experiments,and providing scientific practical reference cases for further enriching and perfecting physical education methods and teaching practices,and promoting the reform of school physical education.By analyzing the results of this experiment,four conclusions are drawn as following:(1)Under the same teaching time,the improvement degree of PBL teaching method and traditional teaching method on students' football physical fitness is basically similar,and there is no significant difference(2)Compared with the traditional teaching method,PBL teaching method is more conducive to improve students' three basic football skills.(3)Although PBL teaching method and traditional teaching method can greatly improve junior high school students' performance of football basic theoretical knowledge,the teaching effect of PBL teaching method is more obvious.(4)Using PBL teaching method in junior high school football teaching,students' independent learning ability in sports and sports cooperative learning ability have been significantly improved,and the teaching effect is remarkable.Based on the above conclusions,the following suggestions are put forward(1)The PBL teaching method has unique advantages in educating people and is worthy of popularization and use.(2)Using PBL teaching method in teaching,physical education teachers need to strengthen their own comprehensive quality.(3)Teachers should base on the important and difficult points of teaching,combine the actual problems of students,and set up guiding questions reasonably.(4)Continuously improve the display and evaluation links in the implementation of the PBL teaching method.(5)PBL and traditional teaching methods should be reasonably integrated to achieve joint teaching.
