The Curriculum for Ideological and Political Education is an important measure to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on education,an inevitable requirement for the implementation of the fundamental task of strengthening moral education and cultivating people,and a major topic that urgently needs in-depth research in the current education field.We must actively explore the integration of ideological and political education and the Curriculum for Ideological and Political Education,and promote the same direction as the two.Geographical Teaching is one of the foundations for the country to formulate major development strategies.Carrying out high school geography curriculum ideological and political research helps teachers and students fully grasp the direction of national strategic development,and is conducive to fully tapping the ideological and political elements in the geography curriculum and improving teachers' thinking Political literacy and the level of teaching,and promoting the all-round development of students.This paper adopts the method of literature research and questionnaire survey to investigate the connotation,development course and research status of the Curriculum for Ideological and Political Education,as well as the connotation and implementation status of the Curriculum for Ideological and Political Education of high school geography curriculum,and analyzes the existing problems.In combination with the objectives and requirements of the Key Competencies of geography,the research believes that the current the Curriculum for Ideological and Political Education is in full development,but there are still some problems,such as insufficient attention to the Curriculum for Ideological and Political Education,inadequate the Curriculum for Ideological and Political Education ability of geography teachers,and imperfect evaluation system.The ideological and political teaching system of high school geography course based on core literacy is constructed from five aspects: theoretical basis,construction principle,connotation structure,implementation path and evaluation index.This paper designs the Curriculum for Ideological and Political Education teaching system of high school geography curriculum from six dimensions,including the patriotism,the concept of harmonious human-earth relationship,sustainable development,environmental ethic,traditional culture of China and social responsibility.On this basis,I designed a teaching design template for the Curriculum for Ideological and Political Education of high school geography.The compulsory geography textbook of the People's Education Edition is sorted out,and the two sections of Chapter 3,Section 3,"Sea Water Movement" and Chapter 4,"How to Improve the Economic Development Level of the Karst Peaks and Mountains in Southwest my country" are selected.We have detailed the Values Education through Curriculum teaching design,combined with the educational background of the new era,and actively explored methods and approaches for the Curriculum for Ideological and Political Education construction of high school geography courses.
