High school moral education is very crucial to the development of young people's physical and mental health and in the training of good moral character. High school ideological and political course is the most important way of moral education in high school moral education. It is indispensable to the cultivation of high school students' moral character, political quality, healthy personality, and the information of their world outlook, views on life and values. However, high school ideological and political education is influenced by old-fashion moral education objects, moral education content, moral education consciousness, moral education evaluation, and so on. Thus, the moral education function of high school ideological and political course shows the tendency of weakening. And the moral education effect is not ideal in teaching practice. As a result, to analyze the current situation of high school ideological and political course, to analyze the weakening of moral education function of the course, and to explore effective ways to strengthen the moral education function of the course, has become an important research topic in academic field today.This paper takes the reality of moral education in high school ideological and Political Course as the starting point. The paper finds out the practical causes of the weakening of moral function of the course and put forward some countermeasures to solve the problem according to the actual situation of our country's education.This paper is divided into five parts. First, in the introductory section, I introduced the reasons of topic selected, research value, domestic research status, overseas research status, research ideas, research methods, the difficult point and the innovation, etc. Then, in the first chapter, I explained the concepts of the moral education function of ideological and Political education from the concept of generalized moral education. I also pointed out its position and function in high school moral education and explained its main content from the individual function of moral education. Next, in the second chapter, I investigated the current situation of high school moral education in our country. I analyzed the results of the investigation, from four aspects of the function of moral education of ideological and political course. I pointed out the realistic problem that the moral education function of Ideological and political education has been weakened. I pointed out the necessity and the urgency to solve the problem. And I found out the main reason of the problem from moral education content, moral education evaluation, and so on. After that, in the third chapter, I analyze the teaching practice of ideological and political course in its entirety and put forward some targeted solutions. I think that we should consider the various factor of high school moral education in order to strengthen the moral education functions of ideological and political education. This paper mainly explores the strategies to strengthen the moral education functions of the curriculum from two aspects. The two aspects are the teachers' own efforts and the reform of the evaluation mechanism of moral education. On one hand, the teachers should adhere to the people-oriented, pay attention to the cultivation of students' subjectivity, and respect students' personality development. The teachers should adhere to the concept of lifelong learning, constantly improve their professional quality and moral quality, grasp the content of teaching materials flexibly, analyze the teaching resources in depth, and improve the teaching by using the achievements of new curriculum reform. The teachers should create good classroom atmosphere and good teacher-student relationship, expand the teaching content, update teaching methods, optimize the classroom teaching, and enhance the effect of moral education. On the other hand, the educators should improve the backward evaluation mechanism of Ideological and political education in high school. The educators should use various evaluations methods, for example, self evaluation, others' evaluation, mutual evaluation, etc. The educators should combine Termination evaluation and Formative evaluation together, and pay more attention to learning evaluation. The educators should try to achieve the evaluation of the main diversification and diversity of evaluation methods, and make moral education evaluation the effective power to promote the teaching of moral education in high school. At last, in the conclusion part, I made a brief summary of the main content of this paper. And I suggested that political teachers and other educators face the pressure and challenges, firm the confidence, dare to attempt, never stop improving, and.make arduous efforts for the full development of high school students.
