The world today is undergoing major changes unseen in a century.With the development of emerging information technology,Western ideology is spreading more widely in China,the basis for struggle in the ideological field is severe,and ideological and political education faces challenges.The ideological and political theory course is a key course to implement the fundamental task of enhancing morality and fostering talents.It is the mission of the times to maintain national ideology and cultivate socialist builders and successors.The current ideological field challenges and the important status of the ideological and political theory course require that ideological and political courses must be run well.At the same time,the proposition of "how to run ideological and political courses well" is also put forward to further promote the development of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.At the historical node of the beginning of the new journey toward a modern socialist country in an all-round way,and accomplishing the goal of a powerful country by education,educational modernization is what it means.Therefore,the reform of the ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities must use new technologies such as big data,cloud computing,and the Internet of Things to seek a new paradigm for the ideological and political theory course.Online and offline hybrid teaching utilizes online and offline teaching environments,online and offline teaching resources,online and offline teaching methods,etc.,to better exert the initiative,enthusiasm and creativity of students to form distinctive,innovative and expansive teaching model,to create a new ecology of teaching of the ideological and political theory course,and also provides new ideas for the reform of the ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities.The thesis starts with the existing research and reality of the blended teaching of
