As the product of the organic integration of Internet information technology and traditional classroom,the online and offline hybrid teaching methods show obvious advantages and meet the realistic needs of information society background and the development of vocational education because of their characteristics of time and space restriction and the concept of student-centered.Especially when the new crown outbreak is surging,the significance of the application of online and offline hybrid teaching methods is highlighted.However,there is a gap between the application status quo of the online and offline hybrid teaching methods in practical teaching and the assumption of theoretical research.This study,through the investigation of the application of online and offline hybrid teaching methods in the classroom teaching of M vocational school tourism majors,finds out the existing problems in practical application,analyzes the causes of the problems from multiple angles,puts forward the corresponding feasible optimization strategy,and tries to solve the real problems.This study used questionnaire method and interview method to investigate and interview teachers and students of M vocational school tourism major.By drawing on the existing questionnaires and combining the observation experience of individual internships,the student questionnaire was designed from the four dimensions of students’ personal situation,the application status and student satisfaction of online and offline hybrid teaching methods,students’ negative attitude towards the application of online and offline hybrid teaching methods,and factors affecting students’ satisfaction with online and offline hybrid teaching methods.Through the analysis of student questionnaires and teacher interview results,this study finds the following problems in the application of online and offline hybrid teaching methods: limited application of online and offline hybrid teaching methods;teachers’ inadequate understanding of the concept of hybrid teaching methods;lack of teaching design specifically adapted to the requirements of hybrid teaching and no scientific implementation mode;there are many problems in online teaching,and the application is not working well.There are four reasons for the formation of these problems,namely: the lack of technical and institutional support in schools;the limited function of online teaching platform,unreasonable design;the lack of teachers to implement online and offline hybrid teaching ability,the implementation of the will is not strong,as well as the traditional concept of teacher-centered has not been changed;students’ ability to learn independently is weak,their attitude is arbitrary,and their concept of subject needs to be updated.Finally,according to the reasons of four levels,the theory and practice are combined,and the optimization countermeasures for the application of online and offline hybrid teaching methods are put forward.Schools should strengthen the software and hardware supporting services,improve the system support,strengthen policy protection;online platform should simplify operation,make the design more user-friendly,and increase the necessary functions,provide personalized service;teachers should strive to improve the implementation of online and offline hybrid teaching ability level,change attitude,actively apply online and offline hybrid teaching methods,but also change teaching concepts,strengthen communication with students;students must take the initiative to cultivate autonomous learning awareness,improve autonomous learning capabilities,change learning concepts,and find the right learning subject positioning.
