With the reform and opening up of China's financial market, the traditional model of deposit and loan spreads as income no longer has a competitive advantage.Instead,it is replaced by competition for quality and service.Excellent performance concept has penetrated more and more deeply into the daily management of commercial banks and become the most important competitive advantage in the banking market.According to the concept of excellent performance management, this paper selects 24 commercial banks to evaluate and analyze their performance level, and identifies the key influencing factors, and devotes to improving the overall development level of China's banking industry.First of all, this article is based on the theoretical basis of bank performance evaluation, according to the content of the excellent performance evaluation criteria, and combining the dual identities of service and commerciality of commercial banks, its customer service and operating profit performance level evaluation and analysis, focusing on both process performance and result performance, are of practical significance for guiding my country's commercial banks to perform performance management.Secondly, select 24 listed commercial banks as research samples to analyze and study their service and profit performance, and use the DEA-Malmquist model to comprehensively analyze the performance level of my country's commercial banks from both static and dynamic perspectives. It turns out that the customer service and operating profit performance of the joint-stock commercial banks are the highest, but the state-owned commercial bank because of the identity particularity, the competition consciousness lacks, and does not respond to the market information in time, causes its customer service and the management profit performance level to be low, while for local commercial banks,it's performance is in the middle and lower level. And then the Tobit model was used to identify the key elements that affect the customer service and operating profitability of commercial banks from the macroeconomic level, the industry level and the bank internal management level, respectively. They show that the commercial banks' customer service significantly affects their operating profit, and the macroeconomic factors only significantly affects on the profitability performance of banks, while industry factors have no significant influence on both.Among the internal factors of banks, the ownership structure, scale level and reserve coverage rate have significant influence on both, while the degree of financial innovation only has a significant impact on the profitability performance of banks. Finally, according to the calculation results and statistical analysis, the relevant measures are put forward.Customer level: commercial banks should accurately locate customer needs, innovate differentiated service products;optimize service procedures, and promote the organic integration of offline services and online banking services;pay attention to the staff management training, and establish the service development concept.Micro level: commercial banks should strengthen the management of assets and improve their ability to allocate assets, appropriate scale expansion, improve asset quality, enhance risk resistance and strengthen financial innovation.Macro level: our country's banking market should strengthen the degree of openness and improve its core competitiveness;continue to strengthen exchanges with the outside world, learn and borrow advanced foreign concepts;financial regulatory agencies should strengthen prudential supervision and serve the real economy to promote high-quality economic development in our country.
