| Twenty-first Century,China’s higher vocational education development stands at a new historical starting point.With the substantial increase of financial investment in higher vocational education,we pay more and more attention to the use of funds in higher vocational education.However,the current literature on the financial research of higher vocational colleges is mostly concentrated on the higher vocational colleges directly under the Ministry of education,which is not enough concerned about the financial performance evaluation of private,enterprise and local education departments.But as an important part of our national education system and lifelong education system,higher vocational education shoulders the training of high-quality labor,skilled and applied talents.The important task of training is the basic project of economic and social development and the construction of a powerful country of human resources,and it is the strategic focus of education.The purpose of this paper is to study the financial problems of Higher Vocational Education in Hunan province.The purpose is to examine the ideas and frameworks for the construction of China’s higher vocational education finance from the perspective of promoting the sustainable development of higher vocational education.This article first selects 49 higher vocational colleges in Hunan Province as the research object from the perspective of hierarchical classification theory.The homogeneity of the decision-making unit(DMU)is classified according to the different units of the higher vocational colleges;second,through the application of the DEA model,Analyze the current status of financial input and output of higher vocational colleges in terms of the overall vocational colleges and the classification of the host units;on this basis,build a TOBIT regression model to deeply explore the factors that affect the financial performance of various vocational colleges;finally Based on the main factors influencing the financial input-output performance of vocational colleges,put forward policies and suggestions for improving the performance of Hunan vocational colleges.The results show that,whether from technical efficiency,pure technical efficiency or scale efficiency,higher vocational colleges under other departments of provincial level are higher than those of local enterprises,private run schools and prefecture level educational departments.From the perspective of influencing factors,the Higher Vocational Colleges’ regional financial level,the average amount of books per student,and the average school area of each vocational college are higher than those of higher vocational education.There is no obvious effect,but the vocational colleges have a significant impact on the strength of teachers,the perfection of basic equipment and the investment in inter school education.Therefore,the government needs more reasonable financial input to higher vocational colleges,so as to promote the sustainable development of higher vocational education. |
